This is a gorgeous piece and I'm happy I bought it. It was a little difficult to assemble, mostly because the instructions were awful but then again, what else is new? Also, some of the holes were misplaced or difficult to line up, which is the main reason I'm giving a lower score (I'd probably give it a 3.5 or 3.75, if I could!). My husband did manage to do it himself and it took about 1.5 hours. Otherwise, I love how it looks and it feels quite solid. The other thing is that the changing pad is a little thin so I have to buy another one. However, like I said, it really is a beautiful piece and fits our nursery well.
It is made to be affordable and you can tell, I am still afraid that it will fall apart when I lift it up, luckily I wont need to lift it. The height is way off, event though it says its 8 inches high, that is only the front facing, the wheels are 1 in, and the front facing is 7 in. The actual depth of the drawer is only 4 inches, the front piece rises 3 inches higher than the sides and back. This did not meet my needs, so I gave it away to a friend, and built one with real wood for about $70, thats what I get for trying to take the easy way out.
None of the holes lined up! Grrrrr!!! We considered returning it, but my husband was up for the challenge to correct the hole alignment and did so. I know the headboard was inexpensive, and knew that it would have defects. So, I guess I wasn't surprise.
I bought this chair for my 8-year old daughter. The chair was packed really tight into the box and once I got it out I did not think that the chair looked the same as the picture on the website and it was not really comfortable. After manipulating the cover of the chair and the stuffing in the chair for about 10 minutes I finally got it to look like the website picture and it was really comfortable. My daughter loves the chair and sits in it as often as she can. It is even so comfortable that my dog has, on occasion, forced my daughter off of the chair so that he can lay on the chair.
Bought mattress for my mini crib. Perfect fit. Nice and firm. Highly recommend the mattress .
