This product came with damage secondary to the transportation. I found out this after the delivery truck had left. Actually there were two damages on the packets. One of them was very obvious but did not resulted at damage of the item. The other damage seemed minor. This was the one that resulted on significant damage of the item's headboard. It seemed that for some prolonged length of time a substantial weight was resting on one side of the headboard and bended or arched one of the studs. I need the item right away and a Overstock representative had given me a phone call to be very careful when accepting the item. If by any chance any damage of the packages were present, I should return the item to the driver. Well, I missed it and I did not bother to contact them. It took me about 3-4 hours to fix it. When ever anyone buys furniture online very thorough inspection for any damages need to be conducted. Small package damage can obscure a substantial damage of the purchased item.

Let's face it- kids grow way too fast! One minute you need a crib, the next they're off to college. When my son started climbing out if his crib (13 months old), I knew we needed a better option. So toddler bed or twin bed? Eventually I decided to go with a twin, and I'm so glad I did. My son loves his "big boy bed", and it's big enough that I can come snuggle him when we read bedtime stories or if he's not feeling well. The quality is decent for a bed I don't expect to use forever. Some of the support beams were cracked on arrival but easily replaced with a quick trip to the hardware store. The shaker/mission-style is classic and would be appropriate for either a boy or girl.

We ordered this bed for our 9 year old son , after looking at several beds on Overstock as well as other sites . It shipped to our home in a timely manner , assembly was easy to assemble , my fiancee did the assembly without complaints , the size of the bed was practical and it did not look cheap at all and really has a nice look , my son loved it.

I like the twin/Futon Bunk Bed for the price. Assembly was easy; however, they don't tell you that you have a lot of pieces to put together. The Futon is to low to the floor. But my seven year old loves her new bed. My biggest problem is that they had to many pieces and the Futon is to low to the floor. So if you intend to purchase this for a child. They will love it as my seven year old does.

I love this bed but it arrived without headboard legs and the no screws. I had to have many conversations with Overstock to get these items. the legs arrived a week later (after much conversation) and the screws they sent were the wrong size so I had to go to **** to get the right size. It was frustrating but the bed now looks great after all that!

This headboard is a great headboard for a child's bed. It looks nice and is simple. It was easy to install and required only about 10 minutes from start to finish. We would recommend this headboard to anyone looking for a first headboard for their child's bed.

This twin bunk bed is terrific! The staircase is a wonderful feature and the bunk bed is sturdy and was easy to put together. The only issue we had was that two of the holes were drilled into the wrong end of one of the metal bars, requiring us to drill two new holes. I'm not sure what we would have done, had we not had a good electric drill on handů The wooden 'steps' did not have any starter holes drilled into them, so we had to use a small nail and hammer, which we were not expecting, but it wasn't a big deal. Otherwise this bunk bed is terrific and we could not have been more pleased.

Our kids love this bed. It looks great too. There was just one major complaint. after we finished putting it up, there was a smell, very noxious for 2 or 3 days from what they treated wood with. It made my eyes water and we didnt want the kids to sleep in their room for a few days while we aired it out. Im surprised noone else mentioned this in their review!

Very pleased ... bought for teen sons & they love it! Received quickly & in good condition. Took two of us 3 hours to put together (many pieces ... slow & patient wins the race :-). Quite stylish ... space efficient ... seems to be well made & sturdy ... opens/closes easily into a full size bed when needed. Step rails not the most comfortable to climb up/down (may attempt to pad them in some way) ... and futon may need some additional center support (underneath) to prevent future sagging. No surprises though ... read all the reviews before I bought and would definitely buy again ... THANKS Overstock.com!!!!

Pretty disappointed in this product overall. The support beams are cheap and break (3 have broken so far)--so we are replacing with more solid wood. Total pain in the butt. I assemble things a lot, and this was the most frustrating assembly to date. The allen wrench provided to put in the "large screws" is a joke. Nearly impossible to get in straight and tighten. We ended up using an allen wrench drill & bit and that worked great (just don't over-tighten as the wood can crack). I called the company to let them know about the assembly problems and broken support beams. They were quick to send replacement beams but said they cannot recommend a power tool for assembly because if someone were not familiar with power tools they could damage the bed. We ended up with 4 stripped screws trying to use the allen wrench provided, so I say go with the power tool. The wood frames of the bed are sturdy and nice. Just wish they matched as shown in the photo above. The screws also show, so there are silver screw heads on white wood all over the frame. Not nice looking at all.

Got this bed for my two girls, ages 5 and 2 1/2. I know they say bunk beds should only be for 6-year-olds and older, but my older daughter is very tall and an agile climber, and she has no problem with the top bunk of the bed. The side slats are well-placed and firmly secured, and with a 6-inch mattress I have no worries about her falling out at night. The bottom bunk was a little high for my little girl to climb into at first, but she's figured it out and loves her new bed. The bed was not difficult to put together, and it's good and sturdy. Excellent bunk bed for the price. The girls love it.

Very easy to put together (despite the large box of pieces). All the holes lined up for us except at the very end (the ladder was a little off). Seems very solid and my two boys were instantly excited about it!

We purchased this bed for our small son and we loved how it looks. The only thing we did not like is that the bed is wider than our mattress, giving us this empty possibly dangerous space between the bed rail of the frame and the mattress.
