I am so glad i got this bed with desk for my daughter. The bed is very sturdy once built and she loves the desk on wheels. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great option for a storage/loft bed.

This is an excellent first child's bed. Comes with plenty of storage. It was shipped in two boxes and many pieces, also a few pieces were slightly damaged, nothing huge. This is a great color for either a girl or boy and matches other dark wood pieces.

My younger boys loved their new beds. It was very easy to assemble and was done in a jiffy. This bed is great and tough, able to handle the boys' rough housing. The wife loves the extra storage for the kids' clothes and such.

My kid loves this bed, I got it primarily for storage though and didn't realize upon purchasing that the drawers were not that deep. This is a little disappointing for storage purposes but it is still a nice bed and the construction was solid. Easy to assemble: just 4 bolts and a few screws. Assembly is much easier if there is a second person helping.

This bed is amazing and half the price as similar products in stores and the quality is excellent. Its not too high so my toddler wont be scared, but high enough to use the underneath for a fort/storage/nook...and it has a freakin' slide! I would have loved this as a kid!!

we bought 2 of these beds one in white one in brown for my kids (5 and 6) love them. The things I wanted from the description but could not find out are the dimensions under the bed. so from the floor to the bottom of the bed is 33inches, the kids can not stand under the bed but they can sit and play comfortabley. I am only five foot tall so for me to change the sheets or give the kids a kiss goodnight I need to stand on the ladder or get into the bed, but this is why I decided to get the lower style loft rather than a traditional loft bed. the bedrooms in our house are small so the extra storage space is fantastic. The beds are very easy to put together after you figure out the directions, the pieces are not labeled and are all very similar so make sure you know which is which before you start. You don't really need 2 people, but 4 hands is really helpful. There were a few scratches from shipping and I was going to call overstock about them but once the beds were together I decided you really can't see them. The drapes for the bottom need to be screwed in, the the tape/Velcro comes with it only stays up for a day or two.

Overall, a good quality bed with storage. Drawers work smoothly and will be an asset in a small room.

I bought this bed for my 9 yr old and he really loves it. It looks like teen bed not a childs bed. It has different heights if you wish to add under bed storage or a trundle. Went together easily.

We bought this bed for our 4 year old son. He loves it. It is very cozy and the kids get a kick out of the fact that there are drawers underneath.

Wow worth every dime. A storage dream. I was able to utilize the drawers on the side and the hidden under bed easy access storage is so convenient and clever design. Rich deep cherry color also. Love it.

We were very surprised with the quality of the beds--very nice. Also the drawers sit on the ground so they can go on either side--great for a kid's room with two beds in it.

My 5 year old is thrilled with her new bed! My husband set it up in about an hour and placed the bed on the highest setting. The first thing my daughter did was make a little secret hide out space underneath, but she likes to be on it too! And, there's ample space beneath for storage (the cloth cubes from Target slide right under neath with room to spare). She loves the height and we hung a sheer canopy ($20 from Ikea) near the head to give it a very "princess-like" look. The bed is solid and sturdy with no shaking. We have not had any issues with slats cracking. If they do, I think we would just add a few additional pieces of horizontal wood, but I don't foresee any issues with our 40 pound daughter. Overall, after A LOT of research and comparisons with Pottery Barn Kids and a few other local high-end furniture stores, we are VERY pleased. This looks and feels like a $500 bed.

This bed is great, love the look of it. The drawers are deep enough to place extra blankets and sheets. The construction feels sturdy there are enough slats to not use a box spring. It's a great bed on the opposite side where there isn't drawers for larger storage boxes. Also added bonus open door in front of the bed for even more storage. I think you get the idea, lot's of storage and I really love my new bed.....

I have never ordered furniture from Overstock and I have never written a review on a product but now I am writing to say how happy and pleased I am with the order. Assembly was easy. There were 8 bolts/screws. Bed and storage are separate so you can put the bed on any wall and have the storage unit face out on the correct side (I was worried about this before ordering). Since the underbed storage is a separate piece, you can push it under the bed a little more so you have room for your foot (instead of hitting the storage area as I always do with a bed that goes to the floor without indent for the foot area.) The bed is sturdy and very "handsome." It is a platform so you only need a mattress. I will definitely furniture from Overstock again!

While we have a hide-a-bed, we wanted a real bed for our occasion able visitors. This bed was the one we chose because it matches the dresser purchased last year and has the advantage of large storage drawers under the bed. We didn't buy a box spring for this bed since the hight was a little more than we wanted for our 4 year old guest. We are very pleased with this bed.

It's my first purchase from overstock.com and I am very satisfied with the service. The beds didn't take long to arrive and the assembly was easy. The beds look exactly like the picture. The color is the same and the drawers are convinient for storage. They work well and the beds are well built. The boys love it!

My sister got this bed for her little boy, he is 3, and it is so cool! (She got the black one though) It's not too high so there is no safety concern, and there is a ton of storage space. She put all of his books, movies, toys etc. on the shelves and stores everything else underneath. The pull out tray is perfect for coloring and playing AND its no challenge at bed time, he loves his bed! So cool!

Some difficulty w/assembly instructions (wood components should have been labeled) such that we had it backwards once (yikes!). It's a sturdy bed w/great storage capacity. I'm sure my 9 year old granddaughter will use it for years.

We love this bed in our son's "big boy" room. We did dark wood furniture with light gray walls and dark blue accents- worked fantastic. We did not do a box spring with the mattress based on other reviews which was a good thing as the bed would have been too high. The only reason I rated 'good' vs 'excellent' is because of the drawers in the bottom- they are fantastic for toy storage and blanket storage but a little hard to keep straight as they do not sit on grooves. Doesn't bother us too much but something to be aware of. Overall great purchase for the price!
