Needed a extra bed for grand kids. Mounted the loft bed over top of a existing double bed. Fit great. Loft bed was easy to assemble. supports a 2 and 4 year old jumping on it. Ladder rungs are small and hard on the feet. But kids don't care. Recommend this bed to anyone who needs an extra bed for a small area.

I needed a plain and simple trundle for a twin bed-- this fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to assemble. I do not recommend this trundle for people with back problems or someone who has difficulty getting up and down. Best suited to kids/teens/college kids as it is very low to the ground.

Works great fits perfectly under my sons bed rolls well. The wheels work great makes it feel lightweight the kids could do it on their own. Great for sleepovers

You get what pay for. Bed looks great once put together and my 11 year loved it. Instructions looked easy but not clear and need 2 people to install. The corner wood foot cracked in the middle by just me tightening the bolt (yes, that how cheap it is). I decided to leave it because it would probably take me longer to uninstall it and ship it back than the time it took me to put it together. Gave it 3 starts because my kid loved it and looked nice once installed and with bedding.

The only reason I am giving this less than 5 stars is due to the color. I wanted chocolate, but this is more of a "black/brown" that you would see at Ikea. If I wanted a black bed, I would have purchased one that said "black", not chocolate. The bed itself, while time consuming to build, is perfect for my 3 year old. Hopefully it will hold up to her jumping with the thinner support panels which cover 3 thicker beams. I love that it has storage, and it's low enough that if my kid falls out, it's not that far of a fall. Overall, happy with the bed, pretty upset with the color.

We had a bad experience with a wooden bunk bed set that broke, so I was very wary about buying a set that was fairly inexpensive again. However, this is a great sturdy set for my young boys (9 & 7). Once it was put together, I have zero concerns about it breaking. It is all metal and fits together tightly with thick metal screws. There are at least 25 metal slats under each mattress to provide even support of the bed. That said, I wouldn't recommend this bed for teenagers or adults. I am 125 lbs and when I climb up on top to change sheets, the bed is extremely shaky and at times when I begin to mount the ladder, it can feel unstable, like it may lean. It has never actually tipped up, but I imagine if a 150+ person tried to climb the ladder, it very well might tip. So, perfect for young kids, but you'll want a heavier duty set for older kids.

It took a long time for us to find a canopy bed for my 14 year old that was not 'princessy' or too young for her pretty sophisticated taste. She wanted a canopy bed with some style, in black and wanted to hang curtains to made her sleep space dark. This has been perfect. It came pretty quickly, with all of the right parts. In fact, my daughter mostly put it together herself! I just provided a bit of guidance and handed her the bolts to screw in. The color is not black, black but more of a very dark gunmetal grey. It's relatively solid construction, not flimsy at all. The bottom frame is solid and sturdy. We've had no issues with it and have had it all set up for several weeks. We are quite happy with it!

Love the way they look. My only criticism is that the screws were black to and very challenging when we out it together. The lack of good instructions was the issue.

The only reason I'm not giving the bed five stars is that I wish there was another color option. It says it's a "gunmetal" color, but it's basically a VERY dark gray - almost black. The finish on it is very nice, there are no areas where the color seems inconsistent. I bought it for my daughter who is eight, and she loves it. We are going to make a canopy in some pink fabric so that should lighten the overall effect of it being so dark. It is very sturdy and doesn't squeak or wiggle at all. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a Pottery Barn look at an affordable price. It was easy to put together, just make sure you pay attention to which sides face inward or outward and which size screws they specify and you'll be good.
Children's beds act as an empty canvas just waiting to realize its potential. To a child, a bed is not just a place for sleeping, but a place for secrets, toys, and make-believe. Kids' beds can become pirate ships or spaceships and change just as quickly into a covered wagon or castle. Their imagination knows no bounds, which can sometimes lead to accident-prone afternoons. The ever popular "Let's-pretend-the-bed-is-a-trampoline" game usually ends in tears. Read More
