  we received this a couple of weeks ago. the set up is super easy. Was able to put together with the help of a 3 year old and a 1 year old. :) My 3 year old has jumped on it a few times and my husband and I have both been on the bed with her at one time and we have had no problems yet.

  I am pleased with the bunk bed. It was pretty easy to assemble but it does new 2 people to do so.

  I really like this bunk bed and futon. It was very easy to assemble if you follow the directions and took a couple of hours. The only problem I have is switching it back from a bed to the futon. It is easy to convert the futon to the bed, but not vice versa. But I also have my bunk bed in the corner of the room so I can only move from the front, but I also think it shouldn't be so difficult. So just be aware if you have any problems, that it might be a little difficult if you have a heavy futon mattress.

  sturdy construction, it took 5 hours to asseble, some of the boards had small scatches and flaws but they barely show after assembly, I would purchase it again
