The bookends are very light and they have felt feet. This means that if you have a smooth shelf the bookends just slide out of the way. If your books will not stand up on their own, these will not help.

Very nice but not put together well. Letter Z not secure and came out right away. Colors are not red, white, and blue, but pink, pastel blue, and white. Still, not bad and filled my need.

I bought this for my best friend for Christmas because of the show Friends. There is a line about AZ bookends. All the others are insanely expensive, so I bought these. They're cute and all the rest. Haven't seen them since he lives elsewhere. I'd reccommend either way...I'm sure they're cute for a kid's bedroom!

I love the children's bookends, especialy since they are my grandson's initials. They are colorful, lightweight and just the right size for a child's room. I would reccommend them to everyone, Happy Holidays to all.

These look great in person. Mine arrived a little broken, but it was something that was easily put back together. Make a note, however, that the color is NOT red, but rather a really bright pink. I originally bought them for my son's room (which has red and navy blue) but since the color is a bright pink, I'll use them in my daughter's room. No big deal for me, but you may be dissappointed if you're expecting red. Other than that, they're really cute. I also want to commend Overstock for their fabulous customer service and return policy. I had an issue on another item I ordered, and they really took care of me. If you're considering ordering anything from Overstock, do it! My experiences with them have been EXCEPTIONAL!

The book shelf arrived poorly packaged,pink color ( I wanted it for my boys room) and it was from A to A !!!!!!I guess the Z got lost! I will return it!
