I ordered this bookshelf for my toddler's room. When it arrived, one of the shelves was broken. the wooden numbers are supposed to be glued to the shelf. well they were loose and scratched all over. I called Overstock.com and they immediately sent another one. I just got it today and the same thing was wrong with it. I'm sending it back for a refund. would definitely not recommend buying them.

These are really cute, but once I got it, the pressed wood is separating, and the numbers are glued into the bottom with dowls, and come off with ease. The paint is also chipping. I would not buy this again, and I am not recommending this to a friend.

The colors are really bright, and liven up a bookshelf. Mine arrived a little broken, but I very easily put them back together. Very fun for any kids' room. On another note, Overstock has been exceptional in their customer service with anything I've ordered, but especially with returns. In my opinion, they are unmatched in the marketplace for how they treat customers and for "making it right". If you're considering ordering anything from Overstock, do it!

I was really excited to order these for my nephew for Christmas. Unfortunately, I received them in a box that looked as if it had been crushed and bent in the middle. When I opened it, I discovered a cheap looking book-end set that a friend of mine could have made and assembled himself in his garage. Shoot, I could have made them! Not only are they cheap looking, but they were broken - poor shipping method. Plus, each number is attached to the base with a little wooden dowel rod. 3 of the 4 numbers are not fully attached and can be lifted right off the base - they are broken too! I strongly advise against purchasing this item. It looks good on the computer monitor, but they are cheap and not worth the money.

This item came in need of repair , which we did, and it is not a steady, secure, bookend for children. It is not very strong. It does look cute, but my grand child is only here a few days a week and I make sure to remove the book she selects for fear of the books tumbling down on her.

Comes apart easily, but just add wood glue and its a very nice decorative piece. Not practical to use as bookshelf or bookends - too light. Still a cute touch to a childs room or bookcase as a knick-knack.
