Hello again, The round piece of chrome I was referencing is just above the shade. Please check the height of the chandelier again. It plus the chain really hang over 8 feet? I seriously doubt this, don't you? One must have super high ceilings... lol thepersonalshopper on Apr 10, 2013

1. What type of crystals? Optical? K9?? 2. What type of fabric is the shade? Linen? or simply a Drum shade? 3. What is the length from the highest round piece of chrome to the bottom of the crystals? 4. Is the shade transparent? 5. What material is the Chrome pieces.. Metal? This is a gorgeous chandelier. The length from the highest round piece of chrome to the bottom of the crystals is 55.5 inches. 4. No, the shade is not transparent. 5. The chrome pieces are made of iron.
