    This energy-saving outdoor shade from Keystone Fabrics is perfect for any outdoor space. This shade features a convenient roll-up design. If the sun heats up your home or patio, then our sunshades are perfect for you. Our outdoor shades block the sun's rays before they heat up your window or patio. This dramatically reduces heat and glare inside your living space. Our Silver Series shades are non-valanced, cord operated shades. They include our long-lasting, polyethylene fabric that provides up to 88-percent UVA block. These roller shades come with all hardware needed for installation. The hardware and fabric are color coordinated. Our shades can be mounted on either a wall or ceiling and the cord can be placed on the right (default) or left side of the shade. All silver series shades come with a metal bottom tube and a ring tie down system. This series of shades comes in 4-foot, 6-foot and 8-foot widths and all shades have a 6-foot fabric drop. Available fabric colors include Monterey (88-percent UVA block), Cabo Sand (85-percent UVA block) and Pebble Beach (86-percent UVA block).

  • Just what I needed

    I bought these shades for my back porch/deck. They do a good job of blocking out enough sun, but still letting light through. Seem to be very good quality and were easy to install, with very nicely illustrated directions. Only issue I had was that on the first delivery I received someone else's order, but Overstock was great about getting my correct order shipped out within the next day or so. If you buy Cabo Sand color, it is kind of a camel color with black intermingled, which I thought was a little hard to tell from the picture on the site:)

  • Solar Shades for our Girls' Rooms

    I rated this sun shade "average" because for the price, it's a good deal, but the fabric is not as thick as some other shades I've purchased in the past. This shade fabric is a bit flimsy, so it seems to look wrinkled all the time and it looks cheap to me. It's OK for what we're using it for, some windows in the back of our house, but I think in the future, I would purchase maybe a higher end product. These came fast, however, which was nice.

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was pretty similar, actually.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. My only complaint is that the fabric seems thinner than some other shades I've purchased.
    • How accurate was the on site description of the product? It was pretty accurate.

  • These blinds are fabulous!

    These blinds are a great addition to my patio, which gets very hot when the evening sun starts to hit. As soon as the blind was installed we pulled it down, and the temperature was considerable lower just standing behind it. We can still see through, so we don't feel too closed in, and we are not exposed to the extreme heat. I look forward to using this all summer.

  • Highly highly recommend

    My husband is pretty handy, did take him about 30 minutes, but he is a perfectionist. Keeps house cooler mid day and easy to allow morning and evenings views of Lake Arrowhead :)

  • Shaded glory

    This has dramatically improved the temperature of the patio. It has dropped it about 10-15 degrees! It offers just the right amount of privacy while allowing you to see out. Its versitility in set up really helped us get them up.

Hi jeannemarei, this item is not waterproof but will be ok if wet. In fact to clean the item you simply rinse with water and scrub with a non-abrasive cleaner. Roll the shade down to air dry.
