A little darker than the picture, still a good looking chair. So far we have purchased 20 for our restaurant, they are strong and comfortable. Higher backs than most, contoured also. Out of the ten sets we had 2 bad parts. Overstock took care of it without delays. Easy assembly, but put it flat on the floor before tightening all screws. If you are going to assemble more than a couple get the allen wrench bit for your drill.
I've been searching for replacement chairs for our dining room. These really are a terrific buy - they look MUCH higher end than the price suggests. They have an industrial feel but still modern and would coordinate with many styles. Comfortable seat and back. Very pleasantly surprised.
I was very unhappy with the fabrication of the piece. There are visible breaks and hollows where the parts assemble. The Photo suggests they are also a lighter color than the are... they are VERY dark. They may be suitable in a café or bar but not in the home.. they feel cheap and commercial. I ordered 6 and only assembled two - and will be returning the other four.
Fairly easy to assemble, these wood and metal chairs really make a statement! I was so happy when I got my chair sets in the mail and found they looked just as incredible as I had hoped. The foam cushion is very comfortable in a color that compliments the chair (and matching table).
Bought 2 sets (four chairs) of these for an upcoming move to a new home. They sat in the boxes for over 2 months. When we opened them, the rear plastic leg inserts on 3 of them were inserted crooked or was just plain broken. Since it was past the 'return window' we had to look for replacement parts locally. How do you put those chair leg footings in incorrectly? Otherwise, these chairs were what we expected. If the footings weren't broken, I'd give the quality an excellent.
