Shipping via Galapagos tortoise I only bought this set to round up my purchase to get free shipping, because it was on my list anyway. It was shipped separately from the rest of my order and I still haven't received it. I believe it is being delivered via Galapagos Tortoise and is somewhere between Utah and Wisconsin. The items might be pretty decent if they ever get here. I sincerely hop that I will not be too old to stand at the kitchen counter and peel vegetables by then.

Great little knife This knife is quite incredible. I've never used a knife not made out of steel - but this thing cuts incredibly well. I've used it on soft vegetables and pickled jalepenos, which are hard to cut without a properly sharpened knife, but this thing had no problems. Although not a replacement for steel knives - as these are not as durable as steel - it is a great accompaniment to any kitchen.

not as sharp as I had expected I ordered the peeler/knife set and at first received only the knife. Overstock handled the replacement very efficiently. The knife blade is short, for small jobs only. It's sharp, but doesn't seem sharper than my other knives. The peeler is very sharp and peels, but it's awkward to hold--seems the blade's too big for me to use comfortably.
