Not for Heavy Duty Use or Large Items
This mandoline is good for small items which are not too dense/hard. Title is misleading as the only ceramic part is the blade -- the mandoline itself is made of thin plastic which couldn't bear the pressure of forcing dense vegetable material without possible cracking. The dimensions are off as while the width can take 3" wide vegetable material, the bottom of the blade is less than 2" from the bottom of the mandoline which means you can't easily slice strips longer than 2" nor cut a vegetable completely through if it is more than 2" long,

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Quality of plastic mandoline is inferior; creamic blade itself is sharp
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? misleading dimensions and product materials
