Looks like the photo
However, the light is not good for reading. It shines directly beneath the lampshade so it is localized and we needed something for a side table to a couch. So it is not so great unless you lean under the lamp to read. So I guess it is best used as a desk lamp like it says. DOn't buy it if you want a side table lamp!

Gorgeous Lamp!
This lamp was purchased to sit on a desk that is the first thing you see as you enter the room. It is perfect. I had seen it described as a work of art and it compliments the features of the room as a work of art would. It lights the area as I need it to (functionally appropriate) while being very attractive and eye catching. I can't remember much about assembling it, so it was simple. The packaging was excellent and protected all of the pieces.
