This item is beautiful and extremely easy to put together. I had my ex-husband help, but other than getting it up the stairs I think I could have done it myself. It's really attractive and the dark finish has red tones, so it ties in well with other furniture. From a personal note, I don't care much for the woodgrained finish. It feels like the surface of the table is 'etched' with a wood grain design. Now I did read the other comments about the depth being on the short side, so I measured my components and I thought they would fit fine, except you also have to consider how far out the tuning dial on your receiver sticks out past the measurement. When you connect the cables, you also have to add a few inches to the depth, because the are inflexible at the back and you have to allow for that space. Of course you could do what other customers did and cut out the back. The glass doors a really nice touch and of all the tables available, this one I'm certain is the most esthetically pleasing to the eye. Also keep in mind that you should also consider the profile of the TV you select, because the center channel speaker will have to sit in front of the TV if it stands on the table, and you don't want to have it interfere with viewing. If it's wall mounted, then no worries. Hope this helps.
I was very pleased with this purchase and it arrived in a very timely manner. I spent a lot of time looking online and in stores for an attractive TV stand that was not going to take over the room. This entertainment center was perfect! It looks like an expensive piece of furniture at a great price! I love the glass doors to semi-hide other electronics. The package did come with a large gouge in the box but suprisingly nothing was damaged.
my husband had it together in less than an hour. prevents the little ones from pressing all the buttons. looks like a very expensive piece. highly recommend.
