I bought this in the king size for the guest room in my beach house. The colors are very nice, and the fabric is just the right weight for summer. Very well made and fits like a dream. The shams are a welcome bonus...don't have to worry about a headboard now. Very pleased!
We bought this for our youngest boy's bed to be used as a Summer comforter. We based our decision heavily on the reviews we had read here. Well, we are out looking for a new comforter for him because this one has just never felt right. At first, it seems like it has a nice feel, but slowly the mini ribs of the stitching cause the fabric to feel like a fine sandpaper. We have tried washing it to soften the effect with no luck.One good use we see for it...bedding for someone who you think might outstay their welcome. It really is that unpleasant of a feeling.
The color saturation in this cotton bedspread is superb. I don't yet know how the stripes will wash though. It was very difficult to find a bedspread in the world of comforters but this one is very generous. I like it very much which is why I wrote this review. The stripes fit in well with my contemporary style and wish decorate for both genders that live here.
I have been searching for a quilt/ bespread large enough to cover and conseal my oversized matress- this is the one!! No more matress showing- this spread is large enough to cover both sides of the bed. The colors are as shown and vibrant. The bedspread is also able to be washed and dried in my home machines- big plus!!
I bought the bedspread when I redecorated my daughter's room now that she is grown and moved out. The sturdy fabric has a great feel to it and the colors really tie the newly painted walls (pinkish terra cotta accent wall with resort peach on other 3 walls) to the grassy green carpet I dared to use to add a splash of color. Everybody who has seen it loves it and says the bedspread just makes the room.
