Now that the entertainment center is finally built and put into place, I really like it. It looks nice and was pretty much what I was looking for. That said, I wouldn't recommend it. The packaging contained this flimsy white styrofoam, which made a huge mess. I had white pieces everywhere and continue to find them. A couple of pieces were scratched up. The wood is pretty cheap. I paid $$$, which isn't going to get me high quality wood, but I probably could have gotten better at Ikea. It looks good from afar but I don't think it would survive a move. My biggest complaint is the lack of assembly instructions. It came with a small piece of paper with a worthless diagram and no instruction. It took me a really long time to put it together and I kept having to start over. I got so frustrated at one point I wanted to throw the whole thing away. I couldn't really return it because the packaging was a mess and it was super heavy. I won't buy another piece of furniture through Overstock. And to give you some perspective, I am typically not a complainer when it comes to products, this is the first online review I've ever written.

I received this item within a week of ordering it and I was happy with the color. However, only the first page of the instructions was included which made it impossible to assemble. Also, the components are flimsy and cheaply made to the point that I've decided to return it. After calling Customer Service, I was told that return shipping would cost about $$$ dollars which is disappointing because that represents over 20% of what I paid for the item. This is the first furniture item that I've purchased online and will be my last.

When the item came in the glass for the doors were shattered, possibly Fed-Ex's fault! We called and ordered replacement parts and went ahead and put the stand together. When putting on the top, we realized that the top panel was cracked halfway down the front. Made another call and ordered another part. It has good storage space, but the drawer is flimsy. The bottom is just a piece of cardboard, and after two days, my son pulled the front off! This stand is nice, but I wish the quality was slightly better. When the replacement parts came in, they were undamaged, and packed very nicely. If they had been packed that way to begin with, they wouldn't have broken.

Shopping for a new media center, I wanted something that would be modern---without being too trendy. And then found this TV cabinet. A perfect mix of minimalism and function. Just the right size too. Lots of storage which was also ideal.
