Just as the previous poster stated, the hangers are the smaller 11" hangers - perfect size for my two year old (but he has plenty of these hangers already). I ordered these 14" hangers for my nine year old as she needs more and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Sadly - these are not what they are advertised to be and I will be returning these today. :-(

Unfortunately the hanger that was sent was 11 inches instead of the 14 inches listed, so I had to return it.

Absolutely fabulous hangers. Too many hangars of different sizes in my daughter's closet made it look so messy--even when it was organized. It is hard to find child hangers and these are terrific. I highly recommend them!

I like the size and style of this hanger, just wish it were a little sturdier. I replaced all of my boys plastic "kid-size" 12" hangers with these 14" slim velvet hangers and am overall very pleased. The 12" hangers are too small for my 7 year olds clothes, which kept sliding off the plastic and ending up on the floor - especially because of the way young boys pull close off of hangers. For the price, I would expect these hangers to be a bit sturdier, They bend a little under the rougher use of young children, I've had 2 snap, and one hook came right out of the top. The children are learning to be more gentle in their removal techniques. The velvet lining is great for preventing clothes from slipping off and holding the clothing straight and smooth, so I expect these hangers to last into the early teens when I can move the boys up to adult hangers (which are much too large for their small clothes now). 14" hangers are nearly impossible to find, in fact these are the only ones I have found. The slim design is great for closet space management. These hangers work well for my sons' sweaters - we've had no shoulder marks. No bleeding of color onto clothese (using ivory and chocolate). It is a little difficult for younger children to hang up their own clothes, particularly because some shirts just fit on these hangers and the velvet makes them grippy. It's easy to put the hanger in from the bottom of the shirt, but the boys usually don't think like that and try to force it from the neck. I also purchased the slim clips that fit these hangers from a local store for shorts and pants. Overall I'm quite pleased, just wish they were a little heavier duty - buy a few more than you need for spares.

I was thrilled to find the Karen Rhodes Hangers for Bigger Kids / Tweens. I has been looking literally for the past few years for the "in-between" hangers but could only find wood & plastic. We live in an older home and the closets depths in their bedroom are tight. These are perfect! They were an investment but worth every penny to me.
