This kettle is very well made and large capacity which is great for boiling water quickly.The button operated lid makes filling very clean and easy.The suregrip type handle is very comfortable to hold and is non-slip which is important with boiling water inside.Fits easily onto the base and is secure.I highly reccomend this kettle as I have found absolutely no reason for any complaint with the manufacture, the size, the speed of use, the look and the feel.

I purchased a Chemex coffee carafe and I decided it was too much trouble to boil water on my stove. This kettle is great. It has a measure so you don't have to measure the water before you put it in, and it's fast! It shuts itself off when it reaches boiling which is perfect because for the Chemex, the water needs to be just below boiling temperature. I looked at many others which were far more expensive. This is just what I wanted, for a great price.

I love this kettle. Being from London I need my cup of tea daily. This kettle works great for me down at the lake. You do need to watch for not filling to the max, otherwise when boiling the water will split out. I fill the water just below the max line mark and that takes care of the problem.

I've heard that heating water for tea and cocoa was quick and easy. using this electric water jug. What I did not hear was that the tea tastes better because the water was extremely hot. I'm very happy with my purchase and I use it daily.

This is a great electric Tea Kettle - very light-weight, holds 1.7 liters of water, and boils the water very quickly! shuts off automatically, which I love, after burning up other tea kettles on the stove. Doesn't take up much room, easy to use. I love it!

I purchased this kettle for use in my office & only tried it out for the first time this week. It's a good-looking appliance, but I found the base too light & flimsy. The lid is awkward to hold open during filling, as it doesn't open all the way and lock in an upright position. Yesterday, the lid would not close, which of course would affect the automatic shut-off. I almost wrapped it up & returned it! Overall, I'm a bit disappointed in the kettle, as it's certainly a handsome beast. Thank you.

I purchased the Kalorik White Jug Kettle to replace my old tea kettle and I am very impressed with what I received. I can heat a full kettle of water in less than three minutes to use for tea, cocoa or for any other cooking purpose plus, it looks a lot better in my kitchen than my old tea kettle. I would recommend this product to everyone.
