I drink both tea and coffee, so I was looking for something that could handle both. This product is not only able to handle both but handle it well. The Kalorik comes with two baskets so there is no exchange of flavours. The only issue I had was that the basket cover for the brown filter was not cut correctly and I can't use it. Not a big issue. You forget how good percolated coffee really is. It takes less that 5 minutes for the beverage to finish and the Kalorik keeps the pot warm for hours. The design of the pot makes it easy to leave out on the counter. This isn't a pot to make a beverage for a crowd as it doesn't make more than three "coffee" mugs but well worth the money.
I purchased this to make small amounts of coffee and tea at my workplace. I especially like that it makes both and takes up only a little room. The keep warm feature is a bonus in that setting. I have not had or used it long, so I cannot speak as to durability, but it looks well made. I like the look of it too, important if it is to sit out all day long. I have been very satisfied with this and with all of my Kalorik purchases.
