Kalorik Sunny Morning 10 Cup Tangerine Coffee Maker

This is about as cheerful as a coffee maker gets. Bought it for my Mom and she says it makes her smile plus she says it makes good coffee. A little slower than the Braun Aromaster we were looking to replace. She didn't want a programable machine as she's 91 and didn't want to learn how to make coffee all over again. Another bonus is that it doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter and isn't too tall. When my Braun quits, I'll probably get one of these also. Delivery time was good and the ordering process was slick. This was my first order with Overstock.com and since the product was as described I'll order again as needed.

We wanted a nice coffee maker for spare and travel. This one can't be forgotten or mistaken for other than ours. Perfect!

We bought the Kalorik Sunny Morning coffee machine as a cheap stand in until we purchase a nicer coffee maker. We've owned 3 Cuisinart machines in the past, all purchased in the 100.00 range - the first one lasted 5 years so we purchased another when it died. The next one lasted only a couple of years and then the last one we purchased only because it was marked way down but after only about a year, it too failed. Cuisinart's machines look nice but we've found that even after the proper cleaning and maintenance that they're all flash and really not that reliable at all and eventually die a slow death taking over an hour to make a single pot. So now we're dealing with the Kalorik Sunny Morning machine. A cheap looking maker that works just fine, it makes coffee fast and the frothing tool that comes with it a hit for both coffee and hot chocolate. My only gripes are A) the fact that the hot plate keeps the coffee warm but not really hot. I have to microwave my second and third cup to make the coffee truly hot. B) The machine has only one button with two functions, on and off. The simplicity is great but if you leave the house without remembering to turn it off - you come home to a house that smells like burnt coffee. Seems like a potential fire hazard if you're not paying attention. Overall, it's a nice little machine at an affordable price and I'd recommended as the perfect back up machine or a dorm room.
