We have been using this toaster for a few times - everytime we use it, it makes an awful burnt plastic smell. We thought it would go away, but it hasn't and we won't keep it anymore. Another issue we have with this toaster is it doesn't toast unevenly. Toast came out burnt brown on one edge of one side, and the other side wasn't toasted at all. Not a very happy experience.

Have been using the new toaster for about a month. This toaster runs way too hot. We initially set it at medium, thinking that was middle of the road doneness. Unfortunately my toast looked like it had been cooked in molten lava. We are now using even lower setting and it seems OK, but I can't get the toaster waffles to come out right. (In case you are wondering. The exterior looks cheap. I will return this item.

I ordered this toaster to replace a toaster that had been doing a great job for 7 years. This one looked intriguing due to the wide toast slots and the bagel setting. The bagel setting is NOT worth it--all it does is shut off the heating elements to one side of the slot so as to not burn the bagel. The new toaster is OK--but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Toaster looks great, but takes forever to make toast! Even on the darkest setting I often have to re-toast to get a dark golden brown color. Toaster also leaves black smudge marks on counter top, which only come off with hard scrubbing. When i lift the toaster up to put it back in the cupboard, if i tip it even the slightest amount , i get a shower of crumbs.

I bought this as a present for my boyfriend parents and they have said nothing but great things about it. Rating doesn't really apply, I have not personally used. But based on their feedback, it made a great gift!

This toaster looks nice, but if you like your bread toasted, I would not recommend this one. In order to toast it to a "medium" toast, you must set the dial to dark, then toast it...twice. Plan on a good ten minutes of toasting time. If you like your toast "dark", don't bother with this toaster. If you're a patient person that likes lightly toasted bread, this toaster is a great bargain. If not, I'd spend a little more for a more efficient toaster.

I purchased this toaster as a gift for my mother for Christmas. She loved it and it has been working well thus far. I shopped around before purchasing and this was the best deal out there. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this toaster because I needed a new one & Kalorik is a new brand to me. I regreted that I bought. Slowest toaster I have ever used! It is really really hard to brown your toast! Also when the toast pops up it doesn't come up enough to take it out. I hate to admit I got what I paid for.

This toaster is wonderful... I can put anything in it... It looks like something out of a speciality shop...It looks so nice I leave it on my counters for friends to see, and i don't leave anything on my counters.

I was very disappointed in this toaster after several attempts to get a slice of bread toasted on both sides. When toasted just right on one side it it was barely brown on the other. I bought it because it was pretty and matched my food processor. I will not buy this again.
