I was a little disappointed in this product. Its biggest draw back is that it doesnt keep the water hot after its boiled

worked great and then the boiling stop broke and it would steam and start melting plastic

Great value and really good to have in the office for a quick cup of tea. Just remember to empty it each night because the inside heating coil will rust.

My family never has time for breakfast. Instant coffee, instant oatmeal, and off to work or school. The Kalorik Silvertone Jug Kettle has made our hectic lifestyle a lot less hectic. The first one up pours cold water into the kettle and pushes the button. That's it! We now have boiling water for tea, coffee, oatmeal, cup o soup, etc. The water stays hot, too. The first one home from school/work checks the pot, adds water if necessary, and Mom has hot water for cooking. The best thing about having this pot in our home is that it shuts itself off after the water has boiled, and keeps the water hot. I never have to worry if I left a boiling pot on the stove. I know it will shut itself off once the water has been boiled. Also, I don't worry about water evaporating away and a pot burning on the stove and causing a fire! We saved money on gas, too! I don't know how we lived before we got the Kalorik Silvertone Jug Kettle. Every home should have one. It is absolutely perfect! I recommend it to all.

I wasn't sure how often I was going to use this but have found I use it quite often. I use it for heating water for making tea in the french press and I also use it to quickly boil water when making dishes such as pasta. Pour the pot of heated water into a pan and finish cooking the pasta. Really speeds up the process. This unit works quite well. The way the lid is connected feels like it wouldn't take much to snap it off so I don't manhandle it and it's been just fine. I'm very pleased with how quickly it boils water. I use it so often that I don't bother to put it away. It takes up at least as much room as a toaster but I don't mind that so much because it makes my life a little easier.

Good solid kettle, useful for many things. And easy to use and store.

The electric kettle works great has automatic shut off. I use it everynight to boil water for my hot teas and it's the most used item in my kitchen.

My husband has been wanting a tea kettle. but we saw on one of the cooking shows a reivew on the this type of kettle. We love it! GREAT price and it heats up so fast. Not super pretty, but we are ok with that. Wish we got one a long time ago.Thank you Overstock.com......we love your site.

I bought this kettle after the Hamilton Beach one that we owned sprang a leak and started getting corroded. The Kalorik kettle is a dream! The top is much easier to open, it holds a lot of water, it heats quickly, and it was a great price. Also, very important, NO LEAKS!

I bought this kettle for my sister's birthday and recently had a chance to use it myself. It was bigger than I expected it to be. The lid is a little annoying because it has a twist-lock feature that seems like overkill for a basic water kettle. I liked the auto shut-off feature and the size of it turned out to be useful for hosting but for just a single girl living alone, it was two times too big.The price is right for what it is. And, it works well for what it is needed for. I'd buy it again for someone and I'd buy a smaller version for myself.

Purchased for my son's new apartment. He came home on Christmas Day and started singing the praises of his new teapot. He's very happy with the speed of heating the water and the temp of the water is just right. Very hot, as it should be. Since so new, the workmanship is still under review as well as the durability. Value seems to be a great one. Cost of gas to heat up a teakettle is too much in comparison to this quick electric version. So we're glad we made this choice. Thanks Overstock!

practical and neat. fast and easy. clean and light. easy to use. fast in action and easy to clean. safe and this product doesnot change the taste of the water. not at all that plastic smell.

Great product - attractive and comfortable to lift when full. Tricky lid opening but to have a lid that locks is good.

I bought this kettle for my granddaughter to have at college in her dorm room, she loves it! uses it all the time and has no complaints, for the money, a good buy.

This is my first electric kettle and I love it...looks great and more importantly, it heats the water really fast. Also nice that it has the automatic shut-off when it's done heating the water.

I loved the ease of ordering this product. It arrived promptly, I Have used it alot and it is really great,very easy to use. I like it better than using a tea pot on the stove.
