This was a christmas gift for my husband who has been asking me to make waffles for months. We did not own a waffle maker so I bought this one with all thfixins and had him open first thing xmas morning so we could use it. Instructions say throw the first waffle away and then the griddle will be ready for the rest. The implication would be the first waffle will not be good. However our first waffle turned out perfectly and although did take 6-7 minutes for one wafffle it did finally cook. The rest of the waffles took 10 min to cook and were still not fully cooked. The next day I tried the sandwhich maker park for a simple grilled cheese and that did not work either. I will be returning this product very unsatisfied.

I just purchased this grill. I've only used the Panini plates. It does take a little longer to grill compared to my old panini maker but I love the easy clean up. My old grill did not have removeable plates and was not easy to clean. This one cleans very easily. I was a little disappointed in the size. I was hoping it was a little larger but overall I would purchase this again. I have yet to try the other plates.I like the way you can stand it up when you are not using it. I don't have a lot of coutertop space.

This unit is much as expected. It makes great waffles and sandwiches. It is easy to clean and the plates are easy to change. A wonderful addition to the kitchen.

First waffles come out good-all the rest never brown and are wimpy.

After purchasing many less expensive waffle makers resulting in many burnt, waffles, I was pleased that this waffle maker cooked my waffles perfectly, golden on the outside, perfect on the inside! The heating element has worked well every time. The contemporary, stainless steel exterior compliments my kitchen appliances too. Bought one for sis and mom, all happy wafflers now!

This wafffle Maker/ sandwich maker has made my life so much easier! It is perfect for quick lunch preparation and a fast breakfast for a busy day. I am thrilled with it. Many times I dont have a lot of time to spend on cooking so this has been nice. The quality is great and the cost is reasonable. It hasn't let me down yet. Thanks Overstock!

I gave this waffle maker to my friend so that she could make me waffles when I visited. What an excellent gift! She uses it all the time.

I wanted this for a family get together to celebrate the holidays. It arrived the night before and the next morning we were able to enjoy fresh fluffy waffles as a family. Thank you Overstock!

I got this item as a present about a month ago and have been very pleased! I really like that you can remove the plates for easy cleaning. It makes excellent grilled cheese sandwiches and it also makes very fluffy waffles! I have not really used the grill part, but if it works as well as the rest of them, I don't foresee any problems. Great product overall.

I bought the combo grill and waffle maker as a present for my grandmother's bday. She absolutely loved the present and has been making delicious waffles for us since then :) the design is beautiful and I would totally buy this product again.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. The test waffle took 20 minutes to cook and was not brown/crisp. Thinking it was defective, Overstock was very helpful in sending a replacement. This second one was just as bad. Again, Overstock understood and sent return label, so I expect a full refund. Guess it's just a bad product.

I have been purchasing from O for about 8 years and this is the only product I have not been happy with.................. it takes about 20 minutes to make 1 waffle and its still not browned.
