I have a large studio apt, 2 sheddy dogs, and did not want my giant upright anymore. I took a chance and yea ! No powerhead, but it still works great. I love this little vac. Scored

Originally this was the color I was going to buy a car in but you know how things work out what with not being a millionaire and all that... all in all its a mighty fine looking vaccum with phat rims. It's perfect for our 2 bed townhouse wood floors & carpets as it has adjustable suckage strength. The additional tools are perfect for cleaning my convertible... oh right yes well my car anyway. The only thing it lacks is a maid to push it round the house. For this price you can't go wrong.

The vacuum worked okay for a few weeks, then it started a steady decline. I had it less than a year and had to throw it away. Also, a pet peeve that drove me nuts was the too-short power cord. Buy something else.

BUYER BEWARE...Do NOT purchase this item! It quit with only occasional use after 6 months. It did great while it ran, but extremely SHORT lived!!! I will NOT buy this brand again!!!

I bought this vacuum cleaner based on the reviews I read. When I got it it worked fine. A piece of the bottom strip came off but I put it right back on with super glue and it hasn't come off again. I have ceramic tile floors so it rolls good. After about two months I started to have trouble getting it to start. I would wiggle the cord at the outlet and then it would start. After a couple of times doing this it completely stopped working. I called the manufacturer and was told that I hadn't registered the product even though I had and that if I faxed all this paperwork along with sending them the product at my expense they would fix it. As a previous person said, It would cost about a third of the product price to do this. I finally fixed it myself by cutting off the male part of the plug and adding a new one. You can buy a plug adapter at a local hardware store. It cost me $5 for the adapter. The vacuum does work okay but emptying the cannister is somewhat of a pain. The warranty support is lousy. They don't back up their product. This is the first and last Kalorik product I buy.

This little vacuum looked like the perfect thing for a small apartment. It had decent ratings so I took a chance. What a disappointment! The vacuum head won't glide over carpet at all and won't lie flat. It turns off after about two minutes due to what must be overheating??! JUNK!!! Since I bought it for my son, he rarely used it, so when he moved and gave it back to me I can now see how useless it is. I only wish I could give it half a star!!

I had this vacuum for over a year and it wirking good , I love it , we have 2 cats and it pics up hair great , you do have to clean the filter and canester ( the doun side of it) but I love how littel space it took , its really light we ahce stairs and it was great. we do not have carpet andI would not recomend it to any one whoth the carpet . I gave it 3 stars becuse its so fragail, it works great but the hoes broke of 2 weeks ago and the plastic handal brok off too 1 week ago . I hade it for ove a year but now I have to get somerthing more study , its great if you need something cheep ( for colleg dorm for exampl)

The sweeper worked well on bare floors but not on carpet. I was satisfied with the product until after just 4 months it wouldn't turn on. I contacted the company and was told that after faxing proof of purchase and shipping the product back at my expense they would repair it and return it. The problem is that the shipping and fax costs total well over a third of the purchase price and the company would not assume those costs. I would not purchase from them again and buyers should be aware of their warrenty repair policies.

This is a good vacuum because it's got all of the features it should have. It's got great suction, on board tool storage, release button to dispense dirt, its light weight and easy to use. The only slight dislike is the large vacuum head. It doesn't seem to have a high enough clearance from the hard floor to easily slide back and forth to vacuum. Items get stuck in front of the tool instead of being sucked in. Overall this vacuum is an upgrade from past canister vacuums and is a good buy. I really like it.

I was a little skeptical about this vacuum because I wasn't familiar with the brand name but the more I use it, the more I love it. Found it to be exactly as described by other buyers who gave it 5 stars. Has great power, works best on smooth floors like hardwood and tile. Does an alright job on carpet for quick jobs. Picks up the dirt up with no problem. Love the bagless system - very easy to deal with. The hose even collapses for easy storage. I haven't used the attachments yet. I also opted for the 2 year replacement plan. Can't beat this one for the price.

The canister has good suction power. The included tools are not that user friendly or efficient. I love the bagless aspect of the canister and the retracable cord is a nice feature.

It's very functional for what I needed it for - it's light and picks everything up. It's also quiet. Good for going from tile and hardwood floors to carpet. I wouldn't recommend it if there is extensive carpeting in the home, but for use only for bedroom carpeting and other floors, it was a very nice purchase for the price and I am happy with it.

I purchased this vac as an extra so that I don't have to drag around the more substantial one for quick jobs. It's got fairly good sucking power, but the rug attachment is just OK; doesn't glide smoothly over carpets and and won't leave them looking "just vacuumed." But it's nice and compact and good for the price.

This little vacuum is great for everyday cleaning of hard surface floors. The vacuum is slightly heavier than our previous compact vacuum. It has great suction and cleaning power. The cord is a little sensitive and shorter than I realized from the information. The power will sometimes go out if the cord is retracted or moved at the base. I also have to move the cord to another outlet to reach all of the floors.

The vacuum cleaner seems sturdy and well built. It works well overall. It's a bit heavier than the one we replaced with it, which makes it more difficult to work with on stairs.

This is a great little vacuum cleaner for small spaces with hard floors or low-pile, commercial-grade carpet; also good on upholstery. I wouldn't recommend this for thick rugs and carpeting. It is easy to assemble and use, and store. The filter works great--so far, no 'vacuum' smell or dust clouds--and is easy to clean and reassemble. (Recommend regular cleaning per instructions.) Plenty of suction power and the cord length is very good for my small space. I gave "Durability" fours stars, but I haven't really had it long enough to know how it will stand up to hard use; however, I take pretty good care of my machines. This is a great little vacuum for the price and my purposes.

This little canister vacuum has the power of my old big name upright plus it is light and easy to move though the rooms. I don't have much carpeting left in the house most of the floors are wood or tile and the Kalorik does a great job on them too. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.........

this is a very easy to use and powerful little vac. It beats taking the big Vac out for small jobs but can also do the whole house.

I was pleased to find a cannister model vacuum cleaner as almost all are uprights. The Kalorik is compact, yet good power. I did run into a problem when I first used it because I couldn't get the floor sweeper attachment off the wand, and was afraid I might break it if I tried to force it. I called the Customer Service number listed in the manual and the person answering the phone couldn't help me, but she said a Product Specialist would call later that day or the next. After 2 weeks without hearing back, I called again today, and when the person said it might just be because it was a new machine, I held the attachment down and pulled very hard and it did release.
