Customer Reviews
Extremely pleased with this mixer, I was drooling to get one of the high end mixers like Alton has on "Good Eats" but really couldn't afford it, so the hubby bought me this one that I had found on Overstock. I as well as he, are quite impressed of the strength of the motor considering that it is so compact, and have mixed up several batches of dough with it with no strain on the motor. And the motor is very quiet, I was doing some midnight baking and the hubby could not hear me using the mixer, even though the bedroom is near the kitchen. He woke in the morning to the surprise of peach pie for Valentines. I am also very happy as to how the mixer can come off of its base and be used as a hand mixer. I display my Kalorik Mixer proudly on my kitchen countertop. And if this one would ever break due to my clumsiness or some other mishap I will be buying this brand again. Glad that I had taken a chance on it. 5 stars to you Kalorik!=- PS, my hubby is a machinist and he is quite impressed with the workmanship also.

I really like the handmixer. It has a lot of power and durability. The bowl is a little smaller than I'm use to, BUT, all and all its a two thumbs up!
I didn't want to invest a great deal of money on a product that would have limited use in our household. That being said, for a modest price I feel I got a lot of "bang for my buck."
Mixes fine and looks great but I am disappointed in the ease of use and wish I had spent the extra money and bought a better one. What bothers me is that I have to put my mixing spoon down in order to lift the mixer out of the batter. It takes two hands, one to push the release button and one to lift the mixer. I'd also like a mixing bowl with a bigger diameter. Having said that, for the price, this is a great value.
I purchased this mixer because of the reviews. I was very disappointed. It has plastic gears and I'm sending it back. I wish I knew that before I ordered it. I've had a mixer with plastic gears and didn't last at all. It's cheap looking and plastic.
