I was searching for a good looking, compact stick blender to keep on my countertop. This looked liked it fit the bill. However, it's much bigger than it looks & if you put the handle in the stand as shown in the picture, it's so heavy it topples over. However, it's a very nice little appliance, very well built & works wonderfully.
I received this a Christmas present and was pleasantly surprised as I did not recognize the Kalorik brand. I have had many mixers of this type before but none have performed as well as this one. I especially like that each part can be washed without worry about getting the electric unit wet! I am planning on purchasing other items of this brand and have already recommended it to others.
Seems very sturdy with a nice weight to it. Versatile and compact. The stand is designed very well. My only objection is the switch must be held down the whole time instead of an on/off type switch. I whipped cream with the whisk attachment it was tiring holding the switch in for that long.
Not great, not bad. Eh.
Pros:
-It's good looking
-I like that it doesn't have to charge, you just plug it in
-It's easy to clean
Cons
-It's makes a lot of noise
-A vent part came out and I had to fix it
-It shakes a lot when your using it
-If your making juice, it doesnt completely blend fruit skins
It's just ok. I don't dislike it enough to return it, but it's not the best.
