I've had this waffle maker for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. As long as you only use 1/2 cup for each waffle, there is no mess. Easy cleaning. Some waffle mixes raise higher than others but they always cook through. I cook my waffle between 3 1/2 and 4 on the dial selector and they come out perfect. Just make sure that waffle maker is heated up good and you spray it with Pam or whatever brand you use before pouring in the batter, pour 1/2 cup of waffle mix and in3 1/2 minutes it is cooked. I don't even watch the light to tell me it is done. I use the timer on my stove to remind me when the waffle is cooked. Chocolate waffles are the best!

I've wanted a waffle maker for quite a while, but was reluctant to spend a lot on one. When I saw the incredible price on this one I pounced, and I'm happy I did! It's a lot smaller than I expected which led to a little disappointment when I first opened it, but after using it I discovered they come out rather large. The lights tell you when it's done, the temperature adjuster lets you pick the perfect way you like them cooked, I couldn't have asked for a better waffle maker...at Any price!!!

I am very pleased with my Kalorik waffle maker! I found that it works best for me on the "2" heat setting, and it doesn't take very long to cook the waffles to perfection. I like that I don't need to use vegetable oil, either! I used oil initially, but forgot on the 2nd waffle, but it didn't stick. So, now I don't use oil on the plates, but I do add some in the batter. And clean-up is easy, too!

I use this every Saturday morning to make waffles for breakfast. The family loves it! Its quick and easy to clean. So glad I purchased on Overstock.

I ordered this product for future use back in March, kept it in the cabinet and just decided to use just recently. I was very disappointed to find out that it does not heat up and the light was just on but really nothing was going on. I plugged it for 10 minutes and still, cold as a cadaver. So I called overstock and informed them of this product and now I am just getting half of the original price since they say it's been ordered for awhile. Next time be careful, test the product and do not just trust the item nor Overstock that they will deliver quality products to your door steps. I learn from this experience. Never again!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loved the design but wanted to use it for a breakfast party. It's pretty small and for this purpose, perhaps a larger waffle maker would have been better. However, in saying this, it's perfect for a couple who enjoys having Sunday breakfast for two that adds a touch of romance. The waffles are heart shaped and different than your ordinary square waffle. They did stick so be sure to use a vegetable spray on the lids for each waffle.

This does not make waffles, it makes pancakes with small dents. If you are looking for a waffle maker this is not the item you want.

I used one of these in Norway for two years and loved it. Bought another make after moving back to the States, but it wasn't as good as the Norwegian one's. So I bought this one since it looked exactly like the one I had in Norway, and it is wonderful; makes perfect waffles!

This is a nice waffle maker if you like thin, flat waffles. Great for child sized waffles. Be careful when pouring batter - it flows over the sides. This is not a conventional waffle maker for thick waffles. I've used this a couple of times but will be purchasing another waffle maker for regular use.

This waffle maker is really handy to have around the house. It makes roughly 5 inch waffles and sometimes we use it as a panini maker. I keep it on the 4.5 setting, which seems to work the best for me because any higher and the waffles will burn and any lower and they will be uncooked in some areas. But others have had different experiences. I like that it's so easy to use because the features are simple. The waffles take about 2.5 minutes to cook and the iron heats up quickly but cools slowly. It's a little annoying to clean because of the ridges but I think that would be the case with any waffle maker. Spray butter works the best to cover all of the surface area. I've had this for 4 months and I can see little spots on the tips of the ridges where the black coating is coming off. Other than that, this is a really good item for a low price and would be best for homes where this wouldn't be used on a daily basis. Recommended to homes of 1-3 people for low to moderate use.

I can say the description is accurate. However, this waffle maker makes small, thin waffles. Not like the waffles I have had at restaurants, hotels, etc. But they are good as the recipe you use. It has a variation of temps, which bear experimentation for the best setting. Time will tell if I keep it or go to a more traditional style. I think children would get a kick from it. Also it might be used creatively with other recipes.
