I could not be more unhappy with this product. It came without an operation manual. The screen for the clock is so tiny and dark, you cant read the time on it. It beeps incessively. I pull it all apart to see what is causing the beeping and after I re-adjust every lid or closure, it finally stops. Its new thing is to start grinding and brewing when it has NOT been set to do so. I was woken up at 3:00 in the morning last night by it grinding, even though it is not set for automatic brew. It is also LOUD. I have had many grind and brew coffee makers and this one is by far the loudest. You can hear it in the upstairs of my home. It is cheap machine that only looks nice on the surface. I wish I woud have stayed with my old brand. Do not waste your money. You will be very unhappy with this.

This is a very nice coffee machine. It also grinds the whole coffe beans which seam to be a great think for those of you who buy fresh coffee beans. The machine is easy to operate once you understand the directions, which should be a litte more descriptive. This is a great machine better than I've seen in any stores.

i bought this coffee maker about 1 1/2 weeks ago and paid 30.00 more than it is now, which just adds insult to injury..i bought a less expensive coffee pot about 1 1/2 years ago that was much easier to use and made great coffee., it was a melita..this one is HIGH MAINTENANCE..if you use whole bean coffee all the time like i do, this is a real hassle, the grinder feeds the coffee thru a tunnel thru little tiny holes that get clogged up and stuck in the cylinder between the grinder and the basket, you have to clean it constantly, its poorly thought out, and Kalorik does not return phonecalls..I will use it because its cheaper than sending it back, but i will probably buy another one very soon just out of frustration. It looks pretty though!

To use the grinder you have to move a lever everytime you use it in addition to the other automatic details, this would probably be okay if you used the grinder daily, I would forget and have to start all over again with fresh grounds (my sisters was not this complicated). After about 2 months it just quit grinding, remember I did not use it all the time either. About two weeks after that it quit brewing. It was to complicated and rediculously loud and was broken in less than 3 months.

Admittedly, this machine was purchased for a high traffic office, but it lasted less than two weeks before the heating element died altogether. Frustrated users, unintuitive setup and small pot make for a unsatisfactory experience. Maybe it's fine for home, but a failure for the office.

Protuct has been used about a dozen times and has stoped fuctioning. It will start make all the loud noises that go along with it then shut down. The clock dies all the lights go out and it does not make coffee. Possible uses door stop, plant holder, or noise maker.

Although I am happy to have the grinder built-in to the coffee maker, I've discovered since receiving this product that having the grinder doesn't make up for several other features. I was dismayed to find many of the silver parts are made of plastic, that the digital clock is nearly unreadable, and the the coffee-maker loves to buzz and beep quite loudly for truly unnecessary reasons. When I press the button to start brewing (using pre-ground coffee), the machine makes a loud, irritating buzzing sound. When the coffee-maker has been on long enough after brewing to shut itself off, it makes another loud noise.The grinder works well but for all the parts and switching that must be done, I prefer using a separate grinder. All in all, while its essential parts may be worth the price, I wish I had not purchased this item.

Do not like this product at all. Wouldn't have purchased this in a million years if I had known that you have to clean the automatic coffee grinder everytime you grind coffee and that you have to pull it apart and that if you don't pull little levers back you get a giant mess and you have to reset it everytime you clean it, it's the biggest pain in my butt that I have ever had in a coffee machine, Don't buy This, you'll be sorry

I am very dissatisfied. We wanted a Cuisinart, but saw the Kalorik and noticed it was a little less expensive, while still functional and attractive. We bought this coffee maker less than a month ago it was working fine. Brewed a good cup of coffee. Imagine my surprise when I tried to make a cup of coffee this morning and my coffee maker didn't brew. The coffee grinder part still works, but the brew does not work. And yes, it received recommended maintenance and cleaning.Additionally, the coffee pot is poorly designed and drips coffee as it is poured.I hope Overstock and kalorik stand behind their product, because I'm sending it back.
