This is a great blender. I really like that it has a glass carafe. I have made smoothies several times and they always come out perfectly. It does a great job. The only reason I took away one star is that the pour spout is a little small, which makes pouring a bit messy. I just make sure I do it over the sink. The only other thing I might change is the lid pushes down and pops off, sometimes the seal is so goos, it is tough to get off, so it would be nice to have one that twisted to lock down. It's not been a big deal though, especially in light of how well this blender works. I would definitely receommend it!
