DO NOT BUY this toaster. I have had it since mid October and it is already broken. The lever doesn't stay down, so you have to hold it down to toast your bread. Kalorik.com has discontinued this product so there isn't anything they can do, but send a different style of toaster. Since I purchased the whole Aztec prodcut line, Blender (have already had to replace glass carafe), Coffee maker (have already had to replace glass carafe on this too), Sandwich maker (have had to get replacement plastic to hold it down) I wanted to have the same toaster to match my kitchen decor. This is the last time I buy something because of how it looks! So frustrating...

Well, this is one beautiful toaster and it had great reviews, so I thought it would be just what we needed, but......... I doesn't toast right. It pops us just about a minute after putting the toast in. Just enough to warm it, but not brown it. I keep having to push it back down, until it toasts. I have it on the highest level, but just doesn't seem to work right. All though sometimes, if I put the bread back down and push the frozen pastry button, it will brown, but then sometimes it'll burn the bread. The thermostat on this just doesn't seem to work right. I also bought the coffee pot and I love it. Makes great coffee and works great.
