The basket that holds the coffee grinds has a handle and that broke within a week when it was never even taken out of the machine. Contacted the company for a replacement and they told me that part was not under warranty and there was nothing they could do. I will return this product to overstocks and not purchase another.

DO NOT BUY this Coffee Maker. I have had it since mid October and the glass carafe broke as my husband put it back in the hold spot, I had to pay to replace it since I broke it. On later inspection the piece that pushes up to let the flow of coffee come out is down so far that it makes it difficult to put the carafe back. I purchased the whole Aztec prodcut line, Toaster (the leaver doesn't stay down anymore), Blender (have already had to replace glass carafe), Sandwich maker (have had to get replacement plastic piece to hold it down), what a mistake. This is the last time I buy something because of how it looks! So frustrating...

I have looked at this coffeemaker for a few years because it consistently comes in near the top of Consumer Reports ratings, but I was reluctant to purchase it after reading a few very negative reviews from others who had purchased it, mainly due to the construction and/or durability of the product. We have used it for about two weeks now and have had absolutely no problems and our coffee tastes better than ever. It would be nice if it sounded a beep when the brewing is finished but that is not a priority. I would recommend it.

I am very pleased with the Kalorik coffee machine. It gets the coffee to a good hot temperature and is easy to use and program.

i bought this coffee maker about 7 months and lovee it. the coffee from this machine is amazing. i would definitely recommend this coffee maker not to mention great price. love the color

After 4 months of use the coffee maker stopped working. The light still comes on, but the heating plate and water heater won't work. My husband looked at the wiring inside and found everything intact, but it still won't work.

Makes great coffee and the programmable feature is easy to use. The carafe handles well and the reservoir is easy to fill without dripping, etc. My only complaint is that I can't see at a glance how much coffee is left in the carafe because the interior wall is black.

I was quite impressed with the Kalorik Aztec when we purchased it in November of 2009. Although it is quite loud when brewing, it makes a good cup of coffee and is an attractive machine which looks good on the countertop. We don't drink much coffee and use it rarely (about two pots of coffee per week), but after five months of light usage, it would not work. There is power to the unit, it can be programmed, but the heating unit doesn't heat and it will not brew coffee. I would not recommend this product, but shopping at Overstock.com was a breeze and shipping was fast.

I get so many compliments on this coffee maker. I wasn't sure about the color, but it is a nice addition to my kitchen not to mention it makes a great cup of coffee! of course that is the best part.

I like this kalorik very much have had it about 2 weeks makes a good cup of coffee it is a little noisy but the aroma from the coffee it is making makes up for the noise. would recommend this coffee maker. Also shipping was very fast.

Not only does it work well-and has many features, it is absolutely lovely.I have quite a bit of bronnze and copper in my kitchen and it is so attractive on the granite countertop-it just melts into to backround.

The Kalorik coffee maker we ordered is a high quality product. It makes excellent coffee and is simple to use. The unit is very attractive and looks good in the decor of our kitchen. Delivery was prompt (even in the Christmas rush.) We are very pleased.

We bought it cause of the copper look. We have an extensive collection of copper cookware as well as a KitchenAid copper mixer, KitchenAid copper blender, KitchenAid copper food processor, Hobbs copper toaster, Hobbs copper hot water heating kettle and a huge collection of other copper items. It works much better than the KitchenAid coffeemaker it replaced and has turned out to one of the best, if not the best coffee maker, we have ever had. Rare that you make such a good find at a fair and reasonable price.
