Kalorik Aqua Blender

This is the first blender I can't make good frappes on. I usually blend coffee drinks and this one will produce a substance that is too liquid while not crushing the ice sufficiently, I end up with huge chunks of ice. I admittedly seem to kill blenders as this is probably my third in twelve months, and even the Professional and Bartender Series break on me. So maybe this is a standard use blender but I need something better. Also, the aqua color is so pale it is true aquamarine and not easily visible, so if you're wanting colorless appliances don't let the term aqua dissuade you. Finally, the lid is hard to fit inside the glass jar. It takes some work to press it in, so it's better to keep a hand atop the lid rather than trying to squeeze it in. FInally, and this is aggravating, the jar fits so precisely in the base that even when you know where to position the jar over the base and lower it you'll likely find it still doesn't sit on the base. I imagine the product has a lot of complaints on this locking feature. If you want to take a couple of frustrating minutes just sitting the jar down in the base, then this is for you. I have gone through so many blenders, I have decided to keep this one despite my disappointment just because I doubt it will survive long anyway.
