This was what we were looking for...small, doesn't use much oil, and doesn't take up much room in my cabinets. If you have a family or want to use it for large portions....this is NOT for you. You can put about the size of one chicken breast or three chicken tenders/fingers in at one time, or a large handfull of fries...that's it. It is very easy to clean since the liner holding the oil comes out. It also has a safety feature, the plug is held onto the fryer by a magnet....so if it were pulled on, it just pops off reducing hot oil accidents!

We have purchased many fryers over the last 30 years and have tried all different types from the expensive to less expensive. We use our fryers (we always have two) several times a week, so they get a lot of use. The temperature numbers are starting to wear off (after only a month) but that has happened on the more expensive ones as well although not so quickly. Temperature seems to hold true as the food is nice and crispy. If these last a year with the amount of use they get, then we will be very happy.

This unit heats the oil very fast. I've had it about a month and it is working great. I would have given in 5 stars but the design could be better. The two slats or openings on the top of the lid is for the handle to sit while attached to the wire basket. I prefer not to have any openings on the lid where an insect to crawl into. I just cover the holes when it is in storage.

It looks great, works great, and seems durable. I followed the cooking times on the packages i.e. french fry bag said 3-5 minutes. They all came out perfect. It's great, and inexpensive. Worth every penny!

This is the first fryer that I have ever purchased or used and if I knew it would be this easy, I would have bought it a long time ago. If you are hesitant about purchasing it, dont be. It heats up very quickly and cooks perfectly. I brought it over to my mother inlaws house on Mothers Day and my husband and I cooked fish and chips and everyone was amazed at how great everything tasted. On top of it cooking great, it is also breeze to clean. Great product!!!

Bought this a about a month ago and used it the first night we got it to make onion rings and fried mushrooms they turned out perfectly! The oil seems to get hot enough and everything was very crispy. Also the lid is nice to keep the greasy smoke from getting all over my kitchen, cleanup was fairly easy also.

i have only had it a short time it works fine...it is a bit small, for me thats fine as it's just my son and i who use it. the only negative is that the degree numbers are coming off already.

I must say this product is very good, it cooks very well and is very easy to clean. I will recommend this product to anyone that wants something thats fast and easy.

This was given as a gift. My nephew and his girlfriend were delighted. They have both been in the restaurant business and thought the quality was great. Would definitely purchase another one!
