I got this bed for my daughter that is 4. The bed is so beautiful and more! I was not expecting the detailing on the bed. The flowers and the butterfly are so nice. This bed is one that a tween will love. One thing to keep in mind, is if you want it to have the trundle, do not buy the bed frame. I did by the trundle for my toddler and it so low to the ground, that I know there will not be any accidents.

We moved our two girls (ages 3 and 6) into the same room, so we wanted to make it special. These beds are perfect! They are very whimsical and feminine. They look more expensive than they really are--almost boutiquey. We painted one wall of the room a deep magenta, and placed the beds against that wall. The white really pops. The head and foot boards have flowers and butterflies on them (you can't really see that in detail in the Overstock pictures). I was concerned that a metal headboard would be uncomfortable but we always tend to sit in bed with the kids and read to them with a pillow or two behind us anyway, so I haven't found the headboards to be uncomfortable at all. We ordered the mattress only option and I am glad we did because there is a ton of room underneath for storage. These are metal beds that look like iron. If you want the old, heavy iron beds, you'll have to go to a flea market or antique shop. I didn't want to get into an old bed situation--been there before with peeling paint and layers of old, suspect paint. But if you want an iron "look" with a new coat of paint, this is a great choice. I really liked the bed, but wish I would have gone with the bedframe rather than the linkspring as I bought the trundle to accompany it and I keep getting my toe stubbed on the metal trundle under the bed. Other than that it is very cute in my daughters room, and super easy to put together!

Love this bed. Looks and feels like something you would buy at a high end barn ;). This arrived at more door in 3 days. It was well packaged, easy to put together. It is very sturdy and much more beautiful than the picture shows. I am really impressed with this bed.

We love this bed! We are using it in the guest room and it is so pretty. I just wish there had been one more to buy, I was fortunate enough to get the last bed in stock....I sure hope you re-stock , so we can have two twins in our guest room.... Till then, we are loving this one with a blue patchwork quilt and butterfly Tiffany lamp on the end table. I ordered the print on overstock called "Laughter" with wildflowers for the guest room today....thank you overstock.com ! I'm decorating the guest room all around this charming bed.

Very nice set, you need a mattress and box spring. Good deal. Nice off-white powder coating on the head and footboard.

The bed is beautiful, but as of July 2012 overstock is not offering the linkspring option needed to accommodate a trundle underneath as pictured. you will get a bedframe which takes a boxspring and mattress, but a trundle will not fit under. To use a trundle, you have to buy this plus a linkspring for $$$ on overstock.

I purchased this as a gift for my 4 year old granddaughter. Her parents love it as does she. The headboard has a notch in it so you can cut the legs down to make it shorter - which they did. I'm ordering a second now for her two year old sister so when she is ready she will have it!

The bed is perfect for my 3 year old. I was unsure of a bed with a link spring, but once I put it together it is very sturdy. I read many reviews on many sites for this bed and people metioned the fit of the mattress not being right. I used a pillow top mattresss and there is no gap on the headboard. The color of the bed is a matt finish not glossy. Only thing Im not found of is the black color of the link spring which is noticeable, however that can be painted. The bed is a dream come true.
