It is a nice bed for the money and we were pleased that it was rated for up to 500 pounds. We are "larger" people and were relieved to know that no one would fall through or break the bed whether it be through sleeping or excessive sitting. With the exception of (as stated above) what looked like paint or rust on the square posts the bed was nice. Also when put together there could be a few minor "gaps" in the metal that could pinch. Lastly, you might want to get a board to place under the mattress so that the mattress (should it shift) doesn't fall through a slat.Read More
I loved the look of this bed! The color was a nice off white. But it does seem that the bed might have been sitting in a warehouse for a while - it has red colored rust stains (from something else - the bed itself is not rusted) on several parts. Also the holes for the slats that hold the mattress (might want to get thinnish plywood or bunki-board to put under the mattress), are not lined up so I had to alternate which side of the slats were screwed in (the mattress will hold them down).Read More
