We needed this rug for a baby's room and decided that the feel of the rug plus the shagginess of it wasn't for us. I thought it would be too easy for a crawling baby to chew on the loose shag sections of the rug. If you're looking for a neutral, oatmeal color rug and don't want to spend a lot of money, this could be a good choice for you. I also think it would hide dirt well.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color is way off on my monitor. It appears as a grey on my screen but in person it's more of an oatmeal.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality was average. You can feel that it's synthetic which, depending on what you're using it for, may not bother you. It didn't feel luxurious to me but it did have a nice neutral look and feel which I liked.

This is the 4th rug I've received from Overstock. LOVED the 1st three, but this is just ok. Perhaps it's because the others are wool, and this one isn't? It seems thin, it's very wrinkled and just looks overal so-so. As mentioned earlier, the color is not ivory or gray as pictured; it's oatmeal. I rated it as "good" because for the price...it's really good! As with all rugs I've ordered, I received in just a couple days which I love.

Don't pass on this rug because of the picture. I read the other reviews, bought it and love it. I just had cherry hardwood floors put in and this light color over the darker floors is perfect.

I was a little skeptical at first of ordering ANY ivory rug due to the "dirt" factor. I ordered this rug and I can't be happier! I receive so many compliments on the rug. I only wish they made it in a smaller size so that I could buy another one for my dining room. BUY IT!

Perfect size, color is a light ivory - just what I wanted. Love the texture, the quality is top notch. I have nothing negative to say about this rug and Overstock's delivery is first rate. Multiple purchases here and extremely pleased with everything I've purchased.

Rug is definitely oatmeal or light khaki in color, not any shade of ivory or off-white. Weave is fairly loose, combined with tighter loops to make the pattern. Medium-quality rug overall. Not a bad rug, but not the color described, and not super heavy-duty. Costs too much to ship back so I'll be finding another use for it beyond the room it was intended for.

The rug is beautiful! The rug was shipped in record time. So fast in fact the online delivery tracking wasn't update until it was already on my door step. The rug was dropped of exactly 30 minutes after I left the house for work. The delivery company left the rug (which was rolled in heavy plastic) 1/2 on the porch and 1/2 on the walkway. I failed to beat the heavy storm home that evening and had to dry it off before entering the house. The plastic was tattered on the ends (appeared to be drug) and mud got on the edge of the rug. I was able to get it out. The rug was a little small for the room that I purchased it for and decided originally to send it back. The return cost was rather expensive, so after much debate I decided to use it in another room. So my advice: 1-if you need an 8x11 rug do not go a few inches shorter and think it will work. 2- When they say fast delivery they mean it! Be home. 3- $2.95 shipping does not mean $2.95 returns!!

A very nice area rug. I love the pattern and the soft feel of the raised portion. Appears to be good quality with close weave. I read some of the reviews prior to ordering and agree about the photo/color description discrepancy. As another reviewer commented, I would describe it more as oatmeal rather than ivory. I am so happy with this first purchase.

Love this rug! It's just enough texture that it isn't trashy. Good quality. Plush, comfortable to lay on. Looks much more expensive than it actually was. Looks great in my room. It is a true ivory color! NOT grey like in the picture.

This rug was ordered on a Sunday night and received on Tuesday morning. The fastest shipping we have experienced! It is an ivory color (even cream color) instead of the grayish look on the pictures. The rug is incredibly soft and just the right thickness. I love this so far!

This rug was a great value. it arrived very quickly, in spite of holiday delivery hastles. There was no odor or shedding, I just rolled it out over a new pad and was ready for holiday entertaining. This rug was placed over a new cork floor in our family room. It has great texture, color is true, no pink or yellow in it. I couldn't find anything nearly this nice at 2-3 times the price locally. This rug came just as described. I was worried the Ivory would be yellowish and it is not at all. It is a very nice color with a shiny hue. It is definitely synthetic and the pile is somewhat thinner compared to a wool rug but it is a steal for the price. It needed a few days to really flatten out. It was lumpy at first, but it has settled now. You defintely need the rug mat to keep it from slipping on hard wood floors. I am very happy with this rug.
