Born in the small French town of Juan Le Pins, Joval started as a street painter at the early age of 12. Amazing the visitors, as well as the locals, by his ability to recreate scenes of places he might not have even visited just saw a small picture book, Joval became regarded as part of the landscape of this quaint town.
Moving to Paris to further learn about and perfect his artistic style Joval was quickly discovered and given a one man show in a gallery on the Left Bank section of Paris. Enjoying fair success in Paris, Joval needed to go back to his roots to create for the love and from his soul not for the critics. He returned to Juan Le Pins and has produced what he calls friendly/understandable art.

Enjoy it
It is really nice for the money. It looks just like the picture on the site. Very bright colors. Shipped really quickly. The sides of the canvas are also painted so it looks artist finished without a frame. I like the look.

A piece of France in your living room
The 'painting' is of good value for the price. The colors are true to the web site representation. We like how the painting seems to take on the characteristics of the time of day. For example, in the morning the painting looks like a morning scene and similar in the evening. This is due to how the painting responds to the nuances of lighting in the room over the course of the day. At all times the painting seems vibrant. The painting works very well with our decor which is casually elegant and high quality. All our guests think we paid at least $1000 for this piece of art. None would ever guess its less than $100.

Very Nice Piece
Colorful, impressionistic street scene which adds, I would think, to almost any decor. Painted edge of canvas is nice touch and sets off the main scene very well.

Perfect!
I love this painting. It has gone beyond my expectations. The burnt orange colour in the painting boldly helps transform my otherwise "dull" dining room. It blended beautifully along with my ivory coloured window panels.

Joval "french Street Scene"
Lovely, colorful and nicely done. Really livened up my walls. But not too gaudy. There is a tiny 1/4 inch beige/gold boarder that iss not depicted in the photo online. It didn't bother me, just finished the picture off. I liked it so much I recently purchased the matching one.

Nice print but needs frame.
Poorly mounted, cannot be hung without a frame. I wanted this to hang without a frame but there is about a 1/4" line around the edge and the fold at the top sticks out. I will return this because I didn't want a framed print. Other than that, the print is beautiful and as pictured, less the line around the edge.

Colors are vibrant and lovely, the canvas stretched on wood was sloppy and not even straight, the picture is trimmed in a fine light pale gold/yellow and is not evenly on the canvas by the corners, the way it was stretched and wrapped on the canvas, very sloppy job, i expected better quality for the price ...will keep the item , not worth sending back..

Attractive picture that's looks similar to an oil painting, vivid colors and internet picture is true to form. It need a frame to make it look finished though.

painting has border
It's a nice painting and the colors are as shown. However, the painting does not go all the way to the frame edge and it comes with an additional 1/4" beige border that really distracts. The web picture does not show this and I wish it did.

Beautiful!!
This picture looks just great in our dining room. I had a wall that was really bare and this art did the trick. It is just beautiful and looks even better in person than it did on the web site. I would recommend this to anyone. Also, it ties in with my decor just beautifully. Adds a lot of color to my off white walls.
