nice looking more muted colors
Nice looking carpet, however you'll need to be aware that the colors in the actual carpet are a muted version of the ones you see on screen. One of the excellent reviews explained this issue in more detail. Colors are sort of a washed-out version of the ones on screen. Background color is more green than dark beige. The carpet sheds a little but is more like a little fuzz.

NOT Ivory, but beautiful
I was expecting that this rug would be different upon arrival than the image on my computer, however, I was under the impression that it would be IVORY as listed, and therefore all the colors lighter, and that was not the case. The background to this rug, in comparison to my light tan carpet, appears more taupe with a slight green cast to it. The rest of the colors I would describe as pumpkin, garnet, sage, olive, and a mix between mauve and coral pink. The blues are more in the cornflower family, and the yellow is buttery. None of these colors are bright. Still a beautiful rug, although Overstock sent me the completely WRONG rug the first time, and I still have to find the time to to get that one to the post office to send back, on my own, with an 8 month old son, despite the fact that I have no car and live in the city. But, that's not this rugs fault.
