I was very pleased with the ottoman, especially for the price. The leather was not at all too shiny which I was concerned about. In 5 minutes the legs were assembled & my piece was together-a GREAT find!!!

We researched several more expensive options before purchasing this item, and I'm pleased with our choice. We recently refurnished our living room, and were in search of a kid-friendly option for an ottoman/coffee table. We really struggled finding something we liked that didn't cost a fortune. Even 'cheap' versions at local stores were in the $500-$600 range, and the items were just not worth the money. This Jonathon Brown Ottoman was a perfect fit for us--great price, decent quality, and it doesn't look cheap.The super fast delivery from Overstock, and the quality of the piece itself were pleasantly surprising. We received the item in just 3 days, and like I said above, it doesn't look cheap. It doesn't look expensive either, but it certainly looks better than many we've seen that are meant to have more moderate pricing. The only downfall we really see with this piece, is that it doesn't seem really sturdy. It's fine if our one-year-old climbs on it, but I must admit that when we had a party recently and had adults sitting on it, I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be able to support the weight. In addition, you should be aware that this item is VERY dark brown--almost black. It suites our room fine, but if you're looking for a more rich warm brown color, this is not the color you're looking for.All in all, if you're looking for a leather ottoman and don't want to spend a fortune or have your item look like it came from a discount store, this is a great purchase for you!

I recieved this in 3 days! I was a little worried considering some of the reviews that say it's black. It's definitely NOT black - it's espresso brown. If you're looking for light brown this is not for you. After looking forever for the perfect ottoman that is affordable, I finally settled on this one. I couldn't be happier! It's very soft leather, not too shiny ( I was afraid it would be) and looks sleek and modern in my living room. It works great as a cocktail table and/or ottoman. Its pretty sturdy. So far, I love it. I've ordered several things from Overstock and have never been disappointed. I'm so thankful for the reviews since they always help me make my final decision.

All the previous reviews are correct. This is a very nice large ottoman in a dark chocolate brown color. It came on time and in excellent condition with no nicks or scratches and very easy to assemble. I have a 3 month old and needed to replace my dangerous coffee table with a more child friendly coffee table. This one will work out great and it looks stylish.
