This little gadget helped quell some marital dispute between my daughter and son-in-law. You see my daughter complained about her husband taking TWO hours to get ready for work as a police officer. When I asked her why didn't she just iron his uniform for him, she replied that he wouldn't "let" her! (Seems he's a little OCD about his uniform, LOL.) So I bought the steamer as a gift for my son-in-law and he lis quite pleased with the job it does on his uniform and my daughter is pleased that it takes less time than the ironing. I really like this little steamer. It holds enough water to steam one or two garments and it does a nice job of getting out the wrinkles. It's the perfect size for what we need. I actually bought it for my son who HATES wrinkles and doesn't know how to iron! He used to have one of the large, floor type of steamers but it was bulky to store between uses. This little one goes in the bathroom cabinet and is ready to steam just minutes after you plug it in. It is about the size of a small thermos so will also be convenient for travel.

we bought this steamer 2 months ago works well but it tends to clog and stpo easy. you have to clean it out every time you use it or mineral deposits build up fast water turns brown from the heating elements and it sill stain watever you are steaming sorry product.

Nice little powerful handheld steamer. Works good. My only gripe is there is no on/off switch. Basically once you plug it up, you better be ready to steam becuase it steams constantly until you unplug it again.

After looking at many hand held steamers in person, I was very skeptical about buying from mail order without seeing it . However, I am quite glad that I purchaed it. it's lighter than expected, made quite well and easy to operate. Some water spurts but I can hear when it's about spurt so I just pull away from garment and no wet spots. Since i've seen many diffrent styles/ prices I felt that it is bit over priced but also understand this is made in our USA. So well worth the money...

I used this product twice & it no longer works. Too much trouble to pack it up & send it back. Don't think that a hand held plastic steamer is going to do the job that you want.

Can rate product because I haven't received it! I ordered this on Cyber Monday, indicating it would be shipped within 2 days! I checked on my status today (2 days later) and it was still in Tennessee! This is frustrating to say the least. In order to have the item delivered by Friday, I would have had to pay additional shipping. I cancelled order and will never order from OverStock AGAIN! I despise false advertising!

I have to keep house guests from taking steamer when they leave. It's very popular with men who don't want to iron. They can just steam clothes on a hanger over the bathtub the night before work ( if they have work, heh). No more crumbled look at work. Easy, pleasure to use. Quick to steam.

Warms up fast and steams fantastic! Great for at home or traveling. Steam lasts about 5 minutes, then just refill and steam more if needed. Excellent for a hand held steamer. And does not spray water spots. Used on bridesmaid dresses, day wear, and bedding, and it got all the wrinkles out!

This is perfect for women's silk and rayon fabrics. Ironing these fabrics can destroy clothing and I own a lot of silk dress and tops and works very well. I would suggest buying this brand cause it beats the rest.

I have owned several steamers before, they never worked. Jiffy has a fantastic product in the travel steamer. In minutes, the steam is pouring out, and the wrinkles are gone. I'd never get a different brand, It was Fantastic!

Works really well on cotton t-shirts and dresses. Does not work well on dress shirts or dress pants. Great for when your on vacation and all your tops get squished in your bag! Just make sure you hold in properly. My boyfriend thought that it needed to be turned over and when he did boiling water exploded everywhere. Keep out of reach of children!

This is a great little steamer. I purchased this one to help with last minute wrinkle problems- my ironing board is in the laundry room in the basement and I often change my mind and want to wear something that needs a little sprucing up without the hassle of going to the laundry to iron. Some professional window treatment installers brought this model with them when they came to put in some new curtains and they recommended it. So far, so good- it works well, heats up fast and is small enough to store away easily. It doesn't replace a careful ironing, but it has been great in a pinch and it makes my clothes look much, much neater.

The heating element broke after two weeks so I had to return the item. The design is very basic with no switch on the unit, has to be turned on/off at the wall socket. A lot of hot water was ejected with some force as the unit heats up so it is not suitable to delicate fabric like silk.

This has to have a transformer for use in the UK, not just an adapter. I bought one and the whole thing worked for a minute and then stopped. If you want this for shipping to the UK then forget it and buy a local one instead.

Great product. Good handheld steamer. I use this instead of an iron.

I agree with another reviewer -- there's no on/off button. However, it works really well. Not sure if it's the case with all steamers or just this one, but it doesn't work well on heavy cottons. Otherwise, I would've rated it as Excellent.
