Love these rich tones. Don't be afraid of the dark background, it's a gorgeous print. I put it up with a beige window blind, and a faint aquamarine blue wall and it's stunning with dark cherry wood in the room. Quality product!

I was impressed with the fabric these valences are made from: a nice drapery fabric with adequate weight. The color was better also than I expected. As usual I am very satisfied with my Overstock purchase!!! (the only reason I gave workmanship a 4 is because I had to trim some dangling threads off while I hung them.

These valances (also got the drapes but they don't come with tie backs so you have to but the metal one's and they are pretty thick for them) are very pretty with classic colors that are hard to find today. The picture does the colors justice. They are a woven fabric but are a loose weave and the sun shines through brightly and honestly-it looks like burlap in those places. the color disappears to the eye. They are thick and hang very beautifully. Did not come with any care instructions on them though. 1/2 cotton/poly blend. I was overall very pleased with them and am very glad I found them and bought them at such a very low price! Well, worth it-I had three windows.

I am very pleased with the valance. It is a very nice tapestry and the colors are as described. The rod pocket can accomodate a wide rod, but I am using a smaller standard rod and it does fine. The fabric is quite substantial and looks very rich. If you read my other reviews, most everything I have ordered over the years from Overstock has been perfect. There was one exception a few months ago, but I returned it with no hassle. I am very pleased to let my fingers do the shopping. Thanks, Overstock.
