I really like my swing. I have to admit, it looks cheap and my husband wasn't very happy with it because he thought it was pine. I told him I thought it was supposed to be birch. Anyway, I stained it and it looks beautiful - I just hope it holds up. We haven't had a chance to really sit on it and enjoy it yet because it's new. I also bought too small. It's 4' and my swing I was replacing was 5' I found out after putting it together and hanging it on the old chains! Really a bargain for the price.
Directions are easy. Disappointed in thickness of wood used in construction, could be thicker. Unsure if it will last long. Overall it looks good and we are not heavy people.
Swing arrived in excellent condition. Was very easy to assemble, all parts were included. No damage or scratches, looks just like the picture. Took porch paint very well without primer.Only negative, it is very light weight. May not be deep seated enough for big or tall persons. It is constructed very well but am not sure it will hold up in the outdoor pergola. Would recommend to others, especially in a covered porch. Other similar swings seem to sell for 3x as much. Great value, came as advertised, no surprises. Surprising that this big box shipped for so cheap.
This swing came to me in a timely manner in good shape with all of the parts with it. It was easy to put together by myself. It looks nice after I got it hung up, I placed a cushion in it and it is really comfy. Two people can sit in it and it is very sturdy. It is all that I need in a swing and it just adds so much to my new bck porch!!
We recently bought this swing for our front porch and it has worked out perfectly. We opted to paint the swing since it comes unfinished. My husband put it together with little difficulty and we've been enjoying it for about a week now. I can't comment on how long it will last, but so far so good. Also, I haven't tried to find cushions for it yet, so I don't know if that's going to be an issue or not since it is just 4ft long.
