This is a lovely piece, with the added benefit of storage underneath the top - perfect place to hide that ratty blanket you cover yourself with when you don't have company over. I love the scale of the piece - and with the level surface, a tray and coaster sit nice and flat on it, making it a servicable alternative to a coffee table. One leg was a little wobbly when I received the piece - easily enough fixed by driving a screw into it. {Looks like pieces that cost a lot more - great value.

I personally use this item as a substitute for a coffee table. You'd have to have a low level couch to get away with it but I do and it works perfectly. The storage space is very ample. The top is very sturdy and you can set a drink on top of it without worrying about it falling or tilting. The assembly required opening a box and screwing the four legs on...it doesn't get easier than that. Overall, a very attractive item that classes up any room with its sleek look. Worth every dollar.
Received very quickly as with everything else from Overstock.com. Nice quality and very easy to assemble. Just can't get overly excited 'cause it's just a big black ottoman.
We have shopped for a item like this one and none came close to the workmanship or the price. We are very satisfied.
