J.A. Henckels 'Cologne' 7-piece Knife Block Set

Purchased as gift for relatives. They are very happy with the knives. Pleased with the way they look on kitchen counter. Stated best set they have owned

I was a little bit disappointed when I received it. At the beginning, I didn't know what's the different between "one little guy" v.s. "two little guys". I did a search online and most people said that "Two little guys" is J.A. Henckels higher end product but "one little guy" is still a good starter. I bought the set. When I received it, I was a bit disappointed by the depth of the blades. Because I have a "two little guys" set and the blades are really solid and thicker (feels good in your hand), I was just surprised by the thinner blades. All in all, if you are looking for a "starter", I think this set is still a good one to choose from.

Bought this for my son-in-law as hes a budding chef. he loves it and is very happy with the sharpener.It has helped build his confidence to have superb tools.

I bought this for my Dad as a gift. I received a FANTASTIC set of Henckels from my husband when he went to Germany so I assumed that all Henckels have the same quality. These are light, don't really feel well in your hand, and just look and feel cheap. The handles are made of plastic! They are definitely not worthy of the Henckels name. The block that I received didn't even look like it went with the set as there were 2 extra spaces with nothing to go in them. I was a little embarraced to give the gift, but with it being Christmas there wasn't time left to do anything different. I gave it 3 stars because he hasn't complained about them so hopefully they weren't a complete disaster!
