great knives
I loved the knives and the block is quite beautiful. Great value for the money. One problem is that the 8" kife was missing. Waiting to receive it.

Aren't knives supposed to weigh something?
I bought these under the pretense that the brand is well known for being built sturdy and sharp. Unfortunately, my husband and I are amazed at how cheaply these were made. The handles are so small making them nearly impossible to use and the blades are dull. Overall they were not worth any money, on sale or not.

Perfect Gift
These knives making cooking a whole new experience. Got mine as gift in 2004. My brother fondles mine every time he's over. Recently retired, and started doing more than traditional man-cooking, even baking. Perfect retirement gift for him. Re-warned him these knives are SHARP. He liked that and handle-fit to his hand.
