I bought this dresser and the wide dresser for my daughter. I have had them for a year now. I was very excited after reading the reviews, everyone said it was well built, beautiful. I feel like I was completely fooled. It was great they arrived without the feet, which we never put on cause they are bigger then I thought. They were dented and chipped and it wasn't from shipping, they were packed that way. You have to take the hardware off to get all the plastic off. The drawers are shallow and look much bigger then they really are. They do not slide well. Also, the paint chips pretty easily. I am always finding little pieces on her carpet. They are right in that they are more of an egg shell color. I would not recommend them to a friend. They look great in the picture and from far away but they are not well assemble or made. I would have returned them right away if it was easy to pack them back up and I wouldn't have had to pay for the shipping cost. Now we are stuck with them and they are very heavy.

I ordered this dresser for my 7 year old daughters room. I expected it to be white but it is kind of off white or like an eggshell color. Also for the money I expected the drawers to pull out easily but they are not on rollers so they don't slide out like her old dresser did. The only really good thing is that it came completely put together.

We love this dresser. We actually bought it for our new baby's nursery to go with a white crib that we bought elsewhere. They look great together even though the dresser is actually off white. It's a very sturdy piece and tall, which is what we were looking for. It has a lot of room for storage. It was shipped within a week - great service. I'm now thinking about getting the matching piece. Recommend.

This product is fabulous! I dont know why there would be any negative reviews. I am a very picky person when it comes to home decor etc. I tend to have a bit of a high end taste in this department.. and this is a great product!

This was a great purchase for my new home. The color works beautifully and was exactly as described online. Everyone asks me if this is *** because it fits in beautifully next to my *** furniture. I think this was a great value...and where else can you get Free Shippng!

The Ivory Carlyle dresser is the most beautiful piece of furniture I own. The large size, spacious drawers and overall look of quality make it so. Although a little more expensive than other pieces I have purchased on line, there is no required assembly. It comes fully put together. The item was delivered only one week after ordering it. The trucking company driver was most helpful, opening the large box so I could check for damage. One of the bun feet had a threading issue, which was quickly resolved when Overstock sent me a replacement foot. I highly recommend this quality chest of drwers to anyone. I only wish there were companion pieces available.

Pleased with the delivery process. I received the Carlyle chest within one week. The craftsmanship and materials are nice and it seems to be a sturdy chest. It is definitely nicer than some I found at furniture stores for the same cost. It is a good sized chest & it looks like it did in the photo. Easy set up...just attach the feet. Nice buy for the price!

I was expecting the drawers to be better quality. I would buy the dresser again, however, I would not pay as much for it.

This chest is made in Malaysia and it is solid wood and very well finished. The drawers match well and the only assembly is the attachment of the bun feet, which screw in and make leveling easy. The center drawer guides are plastic, but work very well. The drawers fit very well and look just as they do in the picture. The handles are much better looking than in the picture; they are highly polished and stout. At more than $500 it isn't a bargain, but this chest will certainly outlive you and perhaps yours if given only reasonable care. An excellent value for the price.

I received this chest in just a little over one week. I was surprised at the excellent quality, size, and workmanship of the piece. Most chests of this size and quality sell for well over $1400.00. The chest is more of an off white or vanilla white than a stark white, which fits in well with my other bedroom furniture perfectly. I now plan on purchasing the matching mirrored tall cabinet. My only complaint is that I was not at all pleased with the delivery freight service to my home. I would highly recommend this chest to anyone, child or adult.

This is a beautiful dresser. Very well built and the off-white color is perfect. It's sad the bed for this set leaves something to be desired. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

The wife and I have been looking for some all wood furniture that was sturdy and did not cost an arm and a leg. This is one of those items. My daughter loves it, so we also bought the matching mirror chest. The mirror chest need a little bit of adjustment, but very sturdy for younger children. Both pieces should last until she leaves for college in 12 years, and survive are upcoming move to England from the US.

Good piece for the price. Vey easy to assemble. Looks good, clean and functional.

I have been looking all over for a 5 drawer dresser and when I found this at Overstock I was very excited. The price was reasonable and best of all, shipping was only $2.95. There was no assembly required. I received it within 2 weeks of ordering and it is now sitting in my granddaughter's bedroom, and looks great. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. There is a problem with one of the drawers not closing properly, like it is off the track, and I can't figure out how to fix it, but other than that the quality of the dresser is outstanding. Now, if the same company would make a desk with a hutch I would order it in a heartbeat!

I had purchased the Queen bed set previously from Overstock. The addition of this chest completed my room beautifully. This is great furniture at a very reasonable price. The finish is very good and the hardware is very good quality. The chest, as well as all the other pieces I ordered (bed, night stand, and bureau) all arrived in perfect condition...not a scratch on them Would recommend this chest as well as the rest of the collection.

Love this piece and got the dresser to match. It's very roomly and well made with nice deep drawers. I was pleasuantly surprised that it was actually white and not eggshell as one reviewer mentioned, so it matched a mirror I have in the room. I highly recommend it.

This chest is amazing! I absolutely love it! The drawers are super deep. It comes fully assembled with the exception of the legs that screw on very easily! The chest is authentic which is what I was looking for and found on overstock.com. The delivery was extremely quick. Thank you!

The chest iis beautiful--we bought two. They were delivered by a polite freight truck driver and into our garage. They were quite easy to assemble with only the legs needing to be screwed in. Th e drawers are well constructed and hold plenty of clothing. They add to the beachy look we are aiming for.

I just bought this set for my 8yr old daughter b/c one day she will take with her. I wanted something simple, sturdy and nice she would grow into. I got the dresser/mirror, chest and armoire. They are really nice together. I was a little disappointed that the back of the pieces was just panel and not solid wood like the rest of the furniture. Overall I am very pleased with the my purchase and for the price it was worth it.

The only thing that really disappointed me was the color was not at all white even though it was advertised as white. The color is more of a cream. (but definitely not white or even close to it)
