This is an excellent service for any occassion. Most people think it is our best stuff although we use Towle sterling for holidays. Because of the reasonable price this service sees daily use and we are not affluent people. It shows no degradation with the hard use it has seen with the grandkids and our normal household uses. I can give this an unqualified 5 stars.

This flatware makes a beautiful impression of stately elegance. It makes one feel as though dining with royalty.

The unique European designed, two-toned flatware added elegance to our Holiday entertaining. The demi-forks and spoons were the topic of conversation..perfect for deserts and coffee. I used this with my Lenox China and gold-rimmed stemware. The charm and elegance of the flatware complemented the Holiday setting! I bought two sets..one of my daughter and one for myself!

Very stylish setting. Nice feel and balance. Received many complements from family and friends. Was surprised that it arrived it such a nice case.

Overall a nice set, execelent craftsmanship, Though the tea spoons and salad forks are miniature and are dwarft by the extra large soup spoon.

Look a lot more expensive than they are. My daughter is in college and is moving into a house with 3 friends and they need everything. I didn't want to spend a fortune but wanted something that would be durable, not "tin". These are very nice looking and have a good weight to them. As other posters noted, the large spoons are large and the small spoons are small but my daughter and her friends think this is a positive thing. The large spoons can double as additional serving pieces and the small spoons aren't overly small. In addition, the dinner knives have good sized handles and weight and they are sharp. They laugh that if they can ever afford steak, they won't need steak knives. Can't comment on washing yet but with the gold scrolling, hand washing might be best.

I am thrilled with this purchase! I bought these because they almost perfectly match my china set from Mikasa! The spoons are as big as serving spoons, and the teaspoons are tiny, but the set is just so beautiful it really makes no difference... Can't wait to use these for Christmas dinner!

The best thing I like about my new flatware is that it truly is "dishwasher safe". It has weight to it, not some flimsy flatware. The only concern I have to share is that the teaspoons are very small as well as the salad forks, whereas the soup/tablespoons are very large, almost the size of serving pieces. But, overall I'm very pleased.

Very pleased with my purchase. Beautiful and sturdy. Will look elegant on my new dining room set for Easter.
