Lamps are beautiful
I would have given this product an excellent if it weren't for the fact the cord is hard to get from the lamp. It is inside of the bottom and a little difficult to pull out. But with a little effort and time I finally got it out. I purchased two and love them.

Attractive mercury glass lamp
When I took the lamp out of the box, the socket and about 9" of cord were hanging along the base. I had to pull very hard on the cord at the bottom of the lamp to bring the socket on top of it. After much effort, I succeeded. The beautiful mercury glass base outshines everything else in the room. The lampshade is of good quality. Because of its ivory hard back, it looks ivory when placed near a window, white when placed at a distance from it. The lamp is larger than I imagined it. I put it away from windows where the lampshade looks more attractive in my opinion. Now that I have found the right place for it, I am very satisfied with my purchase. It's a great lamp! I wish I could have given it 4.5 stars.
