I bought this light because I liked the look of the black iron. I was surprised when I opened it to see that it was actually brown. It is black underneath with a brown coating on top. It looks more coppery than black. But its not as noticeable from far away and it will still work in the space, I just wish it was more black. Extremely difficult to hang in the wall. We ended up having to use a part from the older lamp we were replacing in order to get it hung. Other than that, the rest of the assembly was fairly easy. I think with this product, you get what you pay for.

A bit small for our large dining room so we moved it to the eat in kitchen. I like the quality and even more for the price. Easy to install but weighs a good amount so may need two people. Definitely recommend

Very cheaply made; states you need an electrician to install it. Had no idea of this when I purchased it. A total do-it-yourself project, much more than I anticipated. It came in a ton of pieces you had to put all together, including threading the wires through each stem. It was absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the price, and we sent it back.

I was pleased with the chandelier, looks great in my kitchen. It does need to be put together, but was not difficult to do. Would recommend it.

I love this Chandelier. I have been searching for updated light for our dining room. The price was perfect. Somewhat easy to install. I installed it myself the afternoon that I received it. I wanted to surprise my family. They loved it. My husband is very picky and he said I did a great job. Directions iffy, but I love to figure things out myself. It was not hard. I would recommend this to anyone.

I love this light fixture, though it was more difficult to assemble than it was to install. It was my first time installing a light fixture, and it didn't take long at all. It also looks much more expensive than it was. I would recommend to anyone who wants a more modern look.

I saw this light fixture and instantly loved it, but I was scared to order a light fixture without seeing it first. I looked for weeks and could not find anything like this unless it was insanely overpriced. I took a chance and ordered. I am sooo happy I did. It looks great in the dinning room. You would never know it cost less than $**** The only flaw is the fixture is NOT black. It is more of a dark brown/bronze brushed look. Still dark in color, but not black.

I love this chandelier, now that I've worked out the glitches.. It had a threaded part that was stripped. Didn't find that until it was all put together and getting ready to hang. Had to buy the part at local hardware. Then after lights were on, found a hairline fracture in one of the globes. Other than that, its a beautiful chandelier! Very good value! Also.... it needs small bulbs so they don't show above the globes.

I love the way this light looks in my kitchen! However, I did not expect to put it together with instructions that were obviously copied many times over with a picture that was not legible. Also, this light is made for a very high ceiling, with no instructions on how to remove the cylinder that maintains height. Fortunately, I found the secret to removing it . After it was removed, we installed it with no problem. This experience would have been a lot easier with better instructions and good pictures. But, again, I love the way this light looks in my kitchen.

There is nothing wrong with this chandelier. In fact it's very nice and exactly what we wanted. The picture on the website is accurate and does a good job of showing you what you get. I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 because the instructions on putting the unit together were absolutely horrible. There were a lot of steps that you just had to assume needed to be done and with a little common sense added to the 4 steps on the instruction sheet, it was a little over a half an hour to put the unit together (pre instillation of the unit to the light fixture.)

We are enjoying our new chandelier in our kitchen. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that I thought it was black when I placed the order...not a bronzed/black. Turns out, it looks just fine the way it is. Overall, we are very pleased and will continue to order from Overstock.com in the future,

This lamp is better than I expected. I read all the reviews and was convinced that it would meet my needs, but I was still skeptical buying a lamp sight unseen. I had done that before and was disappointed. Not this time. I got just what I wanted and even better! It is just like the reviews say. It is dark with some rust color swipes mixed in. It hangs perfectly, was easy for a friend to put together, and is wonderfully bright. In fact, I only put 40 watt bulbs in mine because it is so bright. Great lamp and even better price.

This light looks really great once you get it all set up. At first, the arms of the chandelier didn't all fit onto the round center piece so I had to rearrange them until it worked. Also, you can't really use regular size lightbulbs because they will stick up past the shades. I ended up buying some "mini" light bulbs and it worked perfectly. Now I am very happy with it.

The chandelier looks great. Just know that the chain does not go all the way to the shades, so you can only change the length to a predeterimined extent. It's a bit too low for my room, because I have 9-10ft ceilings. I've taken off all the chain and I wish I could shorten it a bit more, but there's about 24 inches of iron that cannot be adjusted. Otherwise, great.

It's very sturdy and classy. Everyone who has come to my new house says it's the first thing they notice when they walk up. It looks super modern in my dining room with green apple walls and black table. I am so happy with it and don't think I'll grow tired of it any time soon.

This chandelier is a great buy! The color is deceptive from the online photos and previous reviewers mentioned that the color wasn't just black but had some copper or bronze coloring to it also, which matches our decor better anyway. Assembly took about 30 minutes. This purchase was a great buy, looks fabulous, and as always with Overstock, simple and hassle free!

It looks like a Crate & Barrel light, but without the high price. I love this chandelier!

Delivered quickly and easy to put together, we switched out our old light and installed this in about an hour. Stylish and fairly priced, we have no complaints. A definite upgrade for the room.

My late husband and I had to relocate, moving to Georgia last year. The home we purchased was a "foreclosure" home. It had been pretty much stripped of all lighting fixtures, but otherwise in great condition. The last lighting fixture for me to replace was the one for our Dining Room. I saw this one at Overstock.com and really liked it, though I hesitated as to whether it was appropriate with my dining furniture. I finally decided to take a chance and purchase. I am so glad I did. A friend put it together and hung this beautiful Chandelier a couple weeks ago. It took him about 20 min to hang with no problems. It is the perfect piece to make that "final touch" to this room. I decided to use 40 watt lightbulbs, to soften the room light . I must say that I will continue to order from Overstock.com. This survey came at the perfect time. I just had my electrician install it in my dining room yesterday and I absolutely love it. It looks very substantial, yet is actually pretty lightweight. I do recommend having a dimmer switch installed for it, as it is very bright.
