Some of the coating is already peeling. But--who wants to pay return shipping on such a heavy item. Nothing a can of spray paint can't fix. The coating is silver--unlike the photo.

Design of hammock great if you figure how to put togetther. No warning that regular sized hammocks won't work. Thought hammock came with stand. Had to buy special sized hammock to hang. Takes alot of room per square footage.

Not very good, it was crooked in its construction so it doesnt sit well on the ground. it was missing some rubber tabs, but this would not have made a diferance. It rusted in one month. Not a good investment!

As others have noted, the pict isn't accurate -- there is a cross bar and the metal is painted with cheap silver paint that cracks and chips off in months (not years). But it's hard to find a modern hammock design. Pay attention that you do need a special hammock, regular ones are too big.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not great, item is painted a lighter silver. In the pict it looks like bare metal.

Need better assembly instructions that describe more exactly the position of individual pieces. Coating start to peel while putting together. The picture has been retouched and did not show a crosspice at the bottom. The hammock I owned turned out to be too big for the stand. Would recommend with reservations.
